Huge announcement 📣
After nearly 40 years of hairdressing and most of my career owning salons it’s time I took a step back. I feel Talking Heads needed a breath of fresh air and a younger face 😂. I have employed over 30 people over the years including 10 apprentices, which some I call my friends and family.

One of my apprentices, now a senior stylist, Caitlin will be taking over the reigns at the end of this June this year. I will be remaining as an employee to look after all my amazing clients which also have over the years become my friends. I thank all my clients reps and friends that have supported me and made my business successful🥰. To my wonderful staff that are with me now, thank you so so much for the last few years and a big big shout out to Jane Evans who has been with me since day one, 18 years of service. Your hard work and loyalty has been unique. Way too many pics to post of the memories , the parties, the hair shows etc. and the hangovers😂. Thank you to my kids that sometimes missed out because mum was always at the salon and couldn’t be at the school. Thank you to my husband Daz for handyman, pay master , des driver, photographer and so much more you can have a break too now 🥰. I hope everyone gets behind Caitlin and supports her as we will be and I will be helping with the transition in the next couple of months. I know she will be amazing, humble, hard working and inspiring and I wish her all the best. As they say nothing stays the same, change is good and I’m excited for myself and Caitlin. I can bake some cakes now 😂maybe. Love to you all M x

Only 4 days until we embark on our march charge walk for the cancer council, we will be walking from Talking Heads to the Rosevears pub. A total of 14km 😮 We have a fundraiser to help raise some money to donate to those in need and would love your help ! The more we raise the faster we will walk 😉 Watch our on Sunday for the yellow top gang 💛

I first met this young girl when she did work experience with us then became my apprentice and then my senior and now she’s spreading her wings! We are not happy to lose her (pic below) but wish her all the best and we fully support her new venture of working for herself. Erin’s last day with us will be April 10 😢. Erin will have a social media page for her new business for clients that want to follow her or Caitlin can take on new clients. Thank you Erin for your hard work and support, we will miss you 😢 🥰
