Oncology Massage Training – Model Required 🌿
I am looking for one lovely volunteer for additional advanced training for my Oncology Massage course Level 2.
This practical session will focus on Cording — a condition that can occur following breast surgery or lymph node removal, where tight, cord-like restrictions form under the skin and can limit comfort and movement through the arm, chest or shoulder area.
The treatment techniques are:
• very gentle
• slow and supportive
• designed to help soften restriction and improve comfort and mobility
This is a supervised training session and there is no cost involved.
📍 Cinergee – 69a George Street
🕗 Thursday 18th June – 7:45am arrival for an 8:00am start
If you, or someone you know, may be suitable and would like to experience this specialised work, please send me a private message.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported me throughout this training journey 🤍

Scar Tissue Therapy Model Required 🌿
As I near the completion of my Oncology Massage Level 2 – Giving Deeper Support training, I have one complimentary scar tissue therapy session available tomorrow.
While scar tissue release is already part of my clinical practice, I am excited to be learning additional techniques that can further support mobility, comfort, tissue health and overall function.
Available times:
• 7:45am arrival for an 8:00am start
OR
• 5:45pm arrival for a 6:00pm start
The scar does not need to be cancer-related. Surgical scars, injury scars, caesarean scars, accident scars or any scar causing restriction, tightness or discomfort are all suitable.
Scar tissue can sometimes create tension and restriction well beyond the original injury site, affecting movement, posture, circulation and comfort. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience specialised scar work while assisting me in completing the final stages of my training.
If you are interested, please send me a message.

Last weekend was a much-needed reset — camping and kayaking through some of Tasmania’s most beautiful coastline. 🌿
Day one took us to Stuarts Bay at Port Arthur, paddling a fair distance around the cove and viewing the ruins from the water — a very different perspective to seeing them from land. Between the constant wake from motorised boats, winds picking up across open sections, and choppy water breaking over the bow, it definitely kept us alert and working. But tucked between it all were the quieter bays, calm waters, and beautiful little beach stops for morning tea and lunch that made every paddle stroke worthwhile.
Day two brought us to Fortescue Bay. The original plan was to paddle across to Bivouac Bay and continue toward the Totem Pole and Candlestick. However, conditions had other ideas. The swells were large and unpredictable, and after three people pulled out while heading toward Canoe Bay due to unstable conditions, we made the decision to shorten the route significantly.
One thing the wilderness teaches very quickly is respect — for weather, water, terrain and your own limits. Sometimes the smartest decision is not pushing through, but adapting the plan and knowing the landscape will still be there another day.
And honestly… that’s part of the magic of Tasmania too.

I had a client talking about Keeper of the Akashic Records, I had no idea what that was so I asked Quinn, the AI program I use to explain it……..this is what I received. What was interesting is that from there….. Quinn articulated a beautiful description of how I have worked for a while now. I so resonated with it that I just had to share it.
Because it is a long conversation - I have put it into a blog

Self-care isn’t just important for clients — it matters for practitioners too. 🌿
Cinergee will be closed on Saturday 16th May while I head off for a weekend of camping and kayaking at Fortescue Bay.
As a self-employed practitioner, taking regular time away from work is essential. Time in nature allows me to reset, recharge, and rebuild energy — so I can continue supporting clients and patients at the level of care they have come to expect.
Sometimes stepping away is exactly what allows us to return more grounded, present, and able to give fully again.
Messages will be returned once I’m back in clinic.

Oncology Massage is about far more than relaxation. 🌿
As my Oncology Massage training continues, I’m learning more deeply how cancer treatment impacts the body — not just emotionally, but physically through the skin, fascia, lymphatics, nervous system and connective tissues.
Alongside the calming and nervous system support learned in Oncology Massage Level 1, I am now training in techniques to gently release restriction through the chest wall and surrounding tissues. Following surgery, radiation and treatment, many people experience tightness, pulling and reduced movement through the shoulder, chest and breast area. Gentle, specialised techniques can help soften these restrictions and improve comfort and mobility.
We are also learning supportive abdominal and colon-release techniques. Constipation is a very common side effect of cancer treatment and can significantly affect comfort and wellbeing. Gentle work through the abdomen may help support movement, reduce restriction and create a greater sense of ease within the body.
What continues to stand out to me is how valuable this work can be — not only for those recovering from cancer treatment, but also for people living with chronic inflammatory or autoimmune conditions where tissues become tight, restricted or painful.
Oncology Massage is not about “fixing” the body.
It is about supporting it gently, respectfully and safely through some of the most physically and emotionally demanding experiences a person can face.
Sometimes healing begins with simply helping the body feel safe enough to soften again.
