An update on our next chapter… ✨

After five incredible years of growing Salon Kephi, we’ve made the decision to step away and sell the business. We’re getting ready to expand our family, and we couldn’t be more excited for the adventure ahead! 🍼

Looking back on this time, we are so deeply proud of what we’ve built. Creating a space where our team thrives, with real work-life balance and fair pay parity, has been one of our proudest achievements. Our team really is the heart of this place, and we are so grateful for the tight-knit team we’ve become.

To our clients: Thank you, truly. You’ve made these five years so special, and sharing this journey with you has meant the absolute world to us.

All existing bookings stay exactly as they are! You’ll see the exact same friendly faces, get the exact same care, with the same products. Hayley will still be behind the chair right up until Christmas before baby arrives!

The secret is finally out, and we are absolutely bursting with pride. Salon Kephi has been named a finalist in the local business awards! 🎉

While we love creating beautiful hair, this nomination is for something incredibly close to our hearts: pay parity.

From the very first day we opened the doors to Salon Kephi, we set out to change the narrative. For decades, the hair industry has been undervalued. We made it our mission to rewrite that story, ensuring our team earns the same annual salary as a male-dominated trade. Because exceptional skill, creativity, and hard work deserve equal respect and equal pay. Period. 🙌💼

This nomination recognises the years of dedication it took to make this vision a reality. We are so incredibly grateful to our amazing team without them this would not be a possibility, they continue to improve their skills and service to make this happen. Also, to our wonderful clients who support a business that chooses to do things differently.
