📌 What should you do BEFORE your Brazilian Wax Appointment:

1. 🛁 Make sure the area to be waxed is clean. That means no oils, lotions, or other products on the skin. On the day of your waxing, simply take a shower or wash the area with soap and water.

2. ✂️ Make sure the hair is at least 1/4”-1/2” long (about the size of a grain of long rice or ice cream sprinkle). If you normally shave, a good rule of thumb is to wait at least 2 weeks after shaving for your wax.

3. 🧴 Exfoliating regularly helps to keep skin soft and smooth. Exfoliate the day before your wax to help remove dead, rough skin - this helps the wax attach to your hair even more effectively for proper removal.

4. 💊 Ask your doctor if you can take a pain reliever such as ibuprofen about 30 minutes before your appointment. This can help reduce any discomfort during the waxing.

5. 🍺 Drink plenty of water the day the before and the day of your wax.

Remember, it will be over before you know it. Being fuzz-free is so worth a couple minutes of discomfort!. Don’t worry – it really doesn’t hurt that much. And trust me, we want you to come back, so we won’t do anything to traumatize you!

📌 What should you do AFTER your Brazilian Wax Appointment:

1. 🛀 Avoid hot showers or baths. This can irritate the skin and cause irritation.
🏋️ Avoid strenuous activity. This can cause sweating, which can irritate the skin as well.
☀️ Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 48 hours.

2. ⏳ For the first 5-7 days after your wax, avoid exfoliating or using products with harsh ingredients. Focus on moisturizing and protecting your skin’s barrier with products like barrier repair creams, Vaseline, or Desitin ointment.

3. 👗Wearing loose, comfortable clothing gives your skin space to heal after a wax. Let your skin breathe!
