I'd love to tell you I had some big plan, but honestly? I had no bloody idea where this was going to take me 😅 What I do know is it's given me the most beautiful life 🌿
I've raised my girls in this salon 👧👧 They've "done homework" at the front desk (well, I told them to... they mostly played on the computer 🤣), napped in the back room, given themselves some very questionable hairstyles ✂️😬 and grown up surrounded by the best women I know.
I've watched girls walk in not knowing a thing about hair and walk out with scissors in hand, ready to take on the world 💪 I watched my very first apprentice grow into the woman who now runs this place day to day and trains the next generation of hairdressers. There's no proud feeling quite like it 🥹
There's been SO much laughter 😂 Like cry laughing, can't breathe, clients wondering what the hell is going on kind of laughter. And let's be real, there's been plenty of s**t too 🙃 Owning a business isn't all pretty foils and good vibes. But every hard day taught me something and I wouldn't trade a single one.

Thank you for showing up with kindness, for the laughs, the chaos, the support on the hard days and for making Bliss feel like home for everyone who walks in. I'm so proud of each of you and so bloody lucky I get to do this with you. And to Xanthe, Bree & Liz & Grace, you might've moved on to new chapters but you'll always be part of the Bliss story. You helped build what we have today and you'll always hold a special place in my heart ❤️
To my husband Zak, the real MVP 🏆 Thank you for backing me from day one, for every late night, every "just one more thing" at the salon, and for picking up the slack at home when this place took over my life 😅 You've fixed things, built things, calmed me down and hyped me up. I couldn't have done any of this without you ❤️
To my family and friends 🫶 you've listened to me bitch, whinge, cry and brag 🤣 Thank you for putting up with me and for all the support. It means the world.

Join the Bliss team! 🌿
We're growing, and we're launching head spa treatments at Bliss. We'd love a couple of good people to join us. We're looking for:
• A hairdresser keen to perform head spas. Anyone holding a Cert II or Cert III in Hairdressing is welcome to apply!
• A beauty therapist to perform head spas and facials
The details:
• Casual, around 5 to 10 hours a week (room to grow the hours as this part of Bliss grows!)
• Must be available Saturdays
• Training provided, so you don't need head spa experience to apply
What matters most to us: you. We hire for personality and attitude first. If you're warm, reliable, love chatting with clients and are genuinely keen to learn, we want to hear from you.
We're a people-first salon in Lavington. Good hair follows good people, and we'd love you to be one of them.

She specialises in Holy Fire Reiki & crystal healing 🔮 gentle, powerful ways to help you feel more like yourself again if you've been burnt out, stuck, or just craving a reset.

Hi, I'm Tahns! Im a first year apprentice at Bliss & I'm loving every part of my apprenticeship so far but honestly my mannequin heads are getting a little boring, I've coloured their hair so many times I couldn't count but not once have they said thank you 😅
I've got my allover colour application down pat, and my seniors are right there with me every step of the way, you're in great hands. I promise I'll look after you. 🙏
