I’ve been getting a lot of questions about what a Korean Lash lift actually is and how is it different to a traditional lash lift?

All lash lifts follow the same key steps:
Step 1 - soften the lashes by breaking down the bonds inside the hair structure
Step 2 - rebuild the bonds into a new lifted shape
Step 3 - reintroduce nourishment and hydration at the end of this chemical process

What sets a Korean lash lift apart is the technique where the entire lash length, from root to tip, is softened before being reshaped, allowing for a more even, controlled lift.

This method is especially suited for clients with stubborn, curly, or downward-facing lashes, and for those who haven’t had success with traditional lash lifts in the past.

Can you believe these aren’t eyelash extensions?!? 😍
This is a Korean lash lift doing what it does best — lifting some of the longest, thickest natural lashes I’ve ever seen.

At the end your appointment, your lashes may look a little clumped which is to be expected. A step 3 treatment (think of it as a leave-in conditioner) is applied to nourish and protect your lashes after the chemical process. Once you give them a gentle cleanse at home the next day, they will separate and settle into that soft, natural finish (see the middle photo).

We went for a more dramatic with this lift and the results speak for themselves.

I love to use the cysteamine solutions which is particularly effective on thick, stubborn lashes like this clients.

My go-to tool for every single appointment is the Precision Lifter Tool. It allows me to carefully separate and position each lash, ensuring a clean wrap with zero overlapping. Precision makes all the difference when it comes to a flawless finish.

This client has struggled in the past to see obvious results due to her lash thickness and porosity but with the right technique and my favourite product combo, we achieved a beautifully defined lift that really opens up her eyes 🥰

The options are endless with eyelash extensions and I encourage my clients to explore various styles and options until they discover their perfect match, just like this client did. Occasionally you may want to change the colour of your hair and your eyelash extensions to complement the change.
