This week is Shingles awareness week in Australia.

Has anyone else noticed that the incidence of Shingles in the population today is A LOT HIGHER than before the Pandemic?

I maintain that the Pfizer jab has something to do with it. I’ve had Shingles twice since January 2022.

The most recently only 4 weeks ago but thankfully this time in discover the patch of sores I got straight to the GP to get the antiviral drugs you can get within 72 hours of the sores appearing.

Having these drugs greatly improves he symptoms and how long they last. I had a small finger on my left hand that was numb most of 2022.

Driving around Mosman and Neutral Bay this afternoon getting signatures! Lovely Sydney on a overcast afternoon!

My niece Piya, and my granddaughter Aerin (and her sister Georgia) loved visiting the Meow Cat Cafe in Epping Meow Cat Cafe last Saturday afternoon.

The cat & kitten room was lovely with air conditioning (essential on the type of humid day we attended), lovely pics and a mural of “The Last Supper”, by Leonardo DeVinci except with CATS lol!

There were 2 senior ginger males who are the Daddy’s/Grandpa’s to the little orphaned kittens (there were about 8 kittens in the room, all being looked after by the ginger cats who attentively bathed the kittens, disciplined them if they acted out and generally teaching them how to “cat”).

The girls had a great 45 minute session playing with the kittens and cats, snuggling with them and enjoying watching them eat their biscuit and energetically pursue them for attention.

The kitten room had LOTS of toys available for guests to play with the kittens. Many “fishing rod” dangling toys, toys that say on the ground, cat trees for them to sleep/perch on etc.

Highly recommend taking cat crazy kids to the Cafe to experience the fun of playing with cats.

ALL of the kittens and cats are available for adoption too! Although I was made to PROMISE I would not bring home a new brother or sister for Mavis and Chewy lol.
