The Consultation Gap 🤍

I think this is something so many artists don’t realise.

You can be amazing at what you do, have beautiful work, get the client through the door for a consultation… and still lose them.

And then you’re sitting there wondering why they didn’t book.

Sometimes it’s actually got nothing to do with your work.

If you haven’t taken the time to understand exactly what that client doesn’t like about their brows, what she wants to change, what she’s nervous about and what she actually wants to walk away with, you’ve already created a gap.

And this is where I think a lot of artists get it wrong.

We’re so quick to explain what Nano Brows are, how we do them, why our technique is different… but have we actually stopped and figured out what SHE wants first?

Because once you understand her problem, you can explain your service in a way that actually relates back to her.

And pricing is another one.

If you’re offering a premium service, but you’ve priced yourself way below the level of the work and experience you’re providing, that can create doubt too.

Cheaper doesn’t always mean easier to book.

Your work can look premium, but your consultation, your pricing and the way you communicate your value all need to match that.

Because sometimes you’re not losing clients because you’re not good enough.

You’re losing them somewhere in the gap between being good at what you do and actually getting the client to understand why you’re the right artist for them.
