Hi, I’m Lisa - the face behind Braids by Lisa 💜

There are quite a few new faces around here lately, so here’s a little bit about the person behind all the braids, glitter, mannequin heads and organised chaos...

What started as me doing a few colourful braids has somehow turned into workshops, parties, community events and getting to teach mums, dads and kids skills they can actually use at home! I LOVE where this little business has taken me and all the beautiful people I've been able to meet along the way!

I love teaching real skills for real life.

It's not about achieving perfectly sectioned, Pinterest-worthy hair every morning.
I’m about real-life hair. The kind you can actually manage on a wriggling child at 8am when you’re already running late 😂

But in all seriousness, one of my favourite parts of what I do is helping build confidence and connection between parents and their kids.

Hair doesn't have to equal tears (from either of you 😅). It can actually be enjoyable, relaxing and a little moment of connection in the middle of everyday chaos. And with our kids growing up WAY too quickly, I think those little moments are pretty special 🥹❤️
