A year ago TODAY, we opened our doors to this beautiful community!🌿 🎉
Thank you Lismore community, to our neighbors on Carrington St, our members, the event facilitators, those who travelled to come bathe with us, and local council for all of your support this past year. We are looking forward to continuing to grow and restore with you for many years to come. 🫧🔥

🌏Did you know, bathhouses originated as early as 2500 bc? Throughout history they have evolved from ancient communal water reservoirs to spiritual sweat lodges to vital hubs centered on hygiene, health, politics, socialising and relaxation all around the globe.
🫧Cultures far and wide have used bathing as a means to connect socially & evoke systemic reflection (& liberation).

🪷This month we invite inclusivity and connection for the Women, Trans, Femme (WTF) folx within the Lismore and surrounds community.
