Hi everyone,

I wanted to make a reel about this, but I couldn’t gather myself enough to make it start to finish.

It is such a bittersweet message I need to share with you all. I’m so beyond grateful I’ve had the opportunity to make my dreams become a reality but it’ll be hard saying goodbye with knowing how much further I wanted to take The Beauty Lounge.

I want to start off by saying how extremely grateful I am, for all of the support The Beauty Lounge has received. Having a salon has been such a dream of mine for so long and with your support I got to open my own space and it’s done well.

Unfortunately due to severe health issues since July of last year that have continued since, it has forced me to make some serious decisions about the salon. I cannot make it through a day in the salon without a headache or migraine. I have been in and out of hospital with these and multiple appointments with many doctors and a neurologist. This affects me in a lot of ways, emotionally, mentally, physically and my passion for my work with it taking such a toll on me.

I have been doing everything I can to prevent and help the situation, though nothing has worked. We have come to the conclusion that’s specific ingredients in the products I work with that affect me and they are in all products of each kind.

Due to this, I’ve made a decision, that breaks my heart, I will be closing the salon.
Over the last few weeks, I have been having serious conversations and it definitely wasn’t a decision I wanted to make this soon. I wasn’t finished with The Beauty Lounge, it had so much potential and I wanted to do so much with it, but unfortunately pushing on how I have been isn’t healthy or ideal.

I love, The Beauty Lounge with my whole heart and closing it down is never something I imagined doing so soon.

My final day will be Tuesday the 21st of January.
