🌟RUN FOR RUI🌟

Run for Rui honours Rui, who was born in July 2025 with a rare condition called Neonatal Alloimmune Thrombocytopenia (NAIT).
Our best friends, Sarah and Marcio, and their beautiful daughter Ada have endured the unimaginable loss of Rui, yet have shown incredible strength through the hardest of times.
NAIT is a condition that is both preventable and treatable when detected early, and greater awareness and research can save lives.
In Rui’s honour, a fundraiser will take place on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February, where Peter & I will be joining Marcio (Rui’s dad) and close friends to run a total of 110km across two days, a distance representing Rui’s dates of birth and death, and the 25 days he lived in hopes to raise vital funds for NAIT research.
