Hi everyone,

After a period of closure, I’m hoping to slowly return to appointments next week. Provided my recovery continues as planned following recent surgery, I will be opening for a couple of days initially while I take things easy and ease back into work.

I am currently still undergoing medical treatment and awaiting further results, with the possibility of additional procedures ahead, so I appreciate your patience and understanding while I navigate this process.

I would also like to kindly ask that appointments remain focused on treatments and bookings. While I truly appreciate everyone’s care and support, I am still working through some personal circumstances and can be easily triggered or overwhelmed by certain conversations at the moment still.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, shown kindness, and continued to support my small business during a very challenging time. It means more than you know.

I look forward to seeing some familiar faces again soon and doing what I love. ❤️

KAI OBY BEAUTY WIL BE CLOSED UNTILL FURTHER NOTICE

Well… 2026 is really keeping me on my toes 😅

For those who don’t know, our home and Kai Oby Beauty salon sit right in the potential firing line if the floods reach the levels seen in the 2000 flood. I’ve attached a photo from back then showing just how much water came through this area.

So for now we’re in full prep mode trying to protect the property and minimise any impact as best we can.

Because of this I unfortunately won’t be replying to messages for a little while while we focus on preparing here. I’m really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Most importantly, I want to wish all of my beautiful clients and the community safety during this event. Please look after yourselves and your families.

I’ll keep everyone updated as best I can and will let you know as soon as the salon is able to reopen.

Fingers crossed once this hurdle is behind us, that’s the last of the curveballs for 2026 and we can get back to full steam ahead with all appointments and bookings!

Well… it seems the universe has decided to test my patience once again 😅🤦🏼‍♀️

After already dealing with a few hurdles lately, the salon has now had an electrical issue outside the building that has burnt out. Until an electrician can inspect it and confirm everything is safe, I unfortunately have to pause appointments again while we work out how serious the damage is.

On the bright side — at least it didn’t happen while a client was inside and everyone is safe 🙏

I’ll keep everyone updated as soon as I know more. Thank you all so much for your patience and support — small businesses really feel these moments but I appreciate every one of you.
