My cup is officially full after two incredible days of education with Lorna Evans. Every new technique, tip, and challenge has reminded me why I love upstyling so much. So many “aha!” moments, endless inspiration, and plenty of beautiful techniques to take away.
There’s something so rewarding about stepping outside your comfort zone and learning from the best. I’m leaving feeling inspired, motivated, and excited to keep growing as a stylist. I can’t wait to bring these new skills into the salon and create even more beautiful upstyles for my clients. 🤍💫

Throwback to my TAFE days—another chance to get creative with a fashion colour moment ✨
Switching it up this time… instead of the classic hidden halo underneath, we flipped the script with a bold pop of colour on top, paired with soft, neutral tones underneath for balance.

Hair is seriously underrated — it’s the second fastest-growing tissue in your body (right after bone marrow 🤯). But what a lot of people don’t realise is that your hair is always moving through three key cycles: the growth phase (anagen), the transition phase (catagen), and the resting/shedding phase (telogen).
Always working behind the scenes, your hair is constantly growing, renewing, and doing its thing without you even noticing. Talk about productivity… she never stops 💁♀️✨

Throwback to my favourite times of up-styling — hands down my favourite part of the salon. Every style is different, and nothing is ever done the exact same twice, which is what makes it so fun.
A little transformation, taking things from soft and subtle to bright, bold ghost roots that completely elevate the look. What started as something a bit flat and “safe” has been refreshed with a pop of brightness and dimension, creating that seamless, lived-in glow while still making a statement. The ghost roots keep it low-maintenance but high-impact — the perfect balance of effortless and eye-catching.✨
