After two years of living overseas, I’m back in Mackay and ready to start offering haircutting and event styling to the Mackay region once again with over ten years of experience. Unfortunately I will not be offering colouring services at this moment in time.

🍃 WE’RE BACK! 🍃

A lot has happened in the past 18 months since I decided to close my page! During that time I finished uni, started a second degree, and gained full time employment 10 months ago!

Since hanging up the scissors in May I’ve been missing hairdressing which is why I’ve decided to start Lily & Fern again! However there will be some changes coming this time around including putting my full time job first and only doing hairdressing on my days off. The biggest change will be ceasing all colour services and only going forward with ladies, mens, and childrens haircuts as well as upstyling for formals, weddings, and other events. As much as I do enjoy colouring, this decision was made so I can enjoy some time off as colouring services can be lengthy and time consuming.

Appointments are ready to be made now but please respect I am a shift worker with my roster predicted 3 months in advance and you may need to be flexible with booking times.

🍃 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🍃

I have decided to close my business for the time being as I wrap up my final studies and transition back into a hair salon environment until I have secured a job as a paramedic. However, in the meantime all my clients can still find me creating and styling beautiful hair as always at Void Hair Design from the 17th October with the lovely team there. I would like thank all my clients, friends, and family that have supported me over the past two years whilst I’ve run my business and juggled my busy uni schedule. Without you all Lily & Fern Hair wouldn’t have been able to bloom into what it became. I have learnt so much about myself and what it takes to become a professional business woman.
