Important message to our beloved clients. WE ARE RELOCATING!

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that our last day of trading at Greenhills Shopping Centre will be on Saturday December 30, 2023.

Our lease has come to an end and after much reflection and consideration, we have decided to relocate and merge Just Lashes Greenhills with our Newcastle location on Darby St in Cooks Hill.

Don’t worry! Our Greenhills team members will be joining us at our Newcastle salon! 😃

Our client database will be migrated so we will have all your records and data on hand, as well as your prepaid appointments, packages, courses, credits, and any loyalty points will be transferred to Just Lashes Newcastle and will be honoured.

We would like to thank all of our clients and all our team members past and present at Greenhills for your loving support over the last 6 years. And we look forward to continuing to serve you at our Newcastle salon in the New Year! 🥰

- Natural talent for providing outstanding customer service, genuinely caring for our clients' experiences.
- A positive can-do attitude, complemented by a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Experience in other services an advantage but not essential- lash lifts, tinting, brow Lam, threading, brow waxing.

Aleena is an International Award Winning Lash Master and our Lash Boss.

“I take lashing very seriously. There are quite technical elements involved and I enjoy perfecting every step. I’ve spent more than a decade learning and understanding everything there is to know about lashes and the products we use- and as it evolves I am still learning and growing! Lash extensions are certainly an art and it’s my art. I also love how we are a local Novacastrian business who grew to several stores across 2 states!”

Aleena started her lash journey in 2010 on Darby St Cooks Hill, when lashes first ventured to Australia and created our exclusive 8 step technique. Over the past 12 years she has won multiple international awards with her technique including USA, UK and have been a speaker at a number of lash events including Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Perth and Auckland. Aleena has spent many years in research and development and worked with manufacturers for more effective and safe lash supplies. As an industry leader and advocate for safe and technically correct lashing techniques, Aleena is a qualified trainer and assessor and developed her own lash training program across all skillsets and techniques including Handmade Russian Volume, which is why all Just Lashes staff are trained in the same methods and level of excellence.

Did you know?
Aleena was born in Hobart, TAS. She doesn’t like cold weather so thank goodness her parents moved to Newcastle when she was 2! Her first competition was for “Baby of the Year” which she won at the age of 9 months in 1982.
Aleena has 4 children and says that work/life balance is all about making priorities including self care. Her husband has been involved in the family business over the years and many clients know him well! And Toni at our booking centre is Aleena’s Mum.
