After issues with access to my tan studio thanks to leaks in our other bathroom + my hectic uni schedule, I’ve decided to take a break from tanning till I’m able to get back into my space & the semester is nearly over/not as hectic.

Once I’m sorted & back at it I will announce my return aw I’m unsure when exactly that will be just yet.

💧 thank Fark it’s winter so it’s quiet season for tans 🙀 annoying nonetheless however can’t be helped. As soon as we have vacated by tanning area I will update when tans will be available again 💛

All other services are not being interrupted by this just spray tans ☀️

💛 📆 Tuesdays all day + evenings, Wednesdays early till 4pm 🕓 these are my regular days however I have online uni stuff around lunch time both days so won’t be available then.

As for Thursday & Fridays - I will be available for TANS ONLY, every second Thursday evening from 4pm & Friday mornings till 12pm(fortnightly starting August 7). Due to uni schedule being heavy in class day on Thursdays sadly I can no longer do weekly tan Thursdays 😔 but this is the best I can do 💕

All tan bookings need to be made in advance with at least a weeks notice where possible, I know last minute things come up and on a Tuesday or Wednesday that might be okay but Thursday and Fridays I will only work if booked in advance, if not booked I won’t set up to tan on Wednesday’s and therefore won’t have the time & energy to do it post uni on a Thursday(during winter I take my tent etc down between tan days as I like a nice clean room, so I do have to out that together & it’s a 45mins mission).

Bookings are all offline now due to my hectic schedule changes & being unable to be constantly monitoring my booking system, please DM me to book 🤎

All other services are only available on Tuesday & Wednesday’s from July 28th onwards.

Our job behind the scenes is to picture this in our minds by ensuring we consult you from make up to dress to location to shoes to how pale your groom is 🫣😅(no joke! As much as I want you to be the glowing star on your big day I also don’t want to drown out your groom too much!).

It’s so important for big moments like this to feel amazing, confident and truly be a glowing bride 👰‍♀️ so please if you’re considering getting a tan for your big day make sure you choose a tanner who will take the entire picture into account and ALWAYS book a trial tan 2 days prior to your make up trial so we can tweak your perfect tan & timing etc prior to the big day 💐

Did you know that the oils you use on the skin can impact your spray tan results? Let’s explore which oils can help you achieve a lasting, more even spray tan and which ones “repel” tan! 💛

❌ Oils to Avoid (Repel Your Tan)
- **Mineral Oil**: This heavy oil will create a barrier on your skin, preventing the spray tan from properly absorbing and leading to uneven results. Mineral oil are in MOST moisturisers, body butters and other “hydrating” body products but they are tans arch nemesis!
- **Petroleum Jelly**: Great for locking in moisture, but it can also block the tanning solution from penetrating your skin, resulting in a patchy tan.
- **Scented Oils**: Many scented oils/moisturisers contain synthetic fragrances that can irritate the skin, dry or your skin and disrupt the tanning process, making it harder to achieve an even finish. Your body cream may smell amazing but it’s likely part of why your tan may be patchy or your skins a little flaky 🤔

✅ Oils That Enhance Your Tan
- **Coconut Oil**: A fantastic moisturizer that hydrates the skin without clogging pores. Apply it a few hours before your tan for a smooth, even application!
- **Jojoba Oil**: Mimics the skin’s natural oils and absorbs quickly, helping to keep your skin hydrated and ready for a flawless tan.
- **Sweet Almond Oil**: Known for its skin-nourishing properties, this oil helps maintain hydration and creates a perfect base for your spray tan.

✨ Always allow good oils to absorb into your skin for at least 12 hours before your spray tan appointment. Make sure your skin is well hydrated in days leading up to your tan to. This ensures your skin is prepped and ready for that sun-kissed glow!

Oils aren’t terrible for your tan however the wrong ones can create a barrier we can’t see… and this barrier builds up over time with heavy use of mineral oils etc in your body wash, soap, body cream, skincare, shampoo & conditioner.

Imagine if you spend a year building that up how long it sticks to get it off? It’s not just a one wash, one scrub thing… and we all know good tan prep is a week long event 😲

HUMAN vs ROBOT! At Christmas I had 3 clients come to me for re-tans after they had gone to auto tan booths… their tans were uneven, the colour wasn’t matched to their skin & they all felt itchy post tan.

Convenience in this day & age has created us to all choose quick over quality, leaving us unhappy with results so then having to spend more time fixing the results 😔 not to mention spending more $$$

I personally looked into buying an auto tanning franchise a while ago & after my many years tanning I just couldn’t own something that didn’t meet my high standards of client care & quality. The cost to fit out & run these places means you have to charge a lot more & use cheap bulk overseas products to be able to make a profit….

Me being me I also was concerned about the cleanliness 🙃 I was thinking ew the floors aren’t cleaned between each set of shoeless tootsies touching that floor 🤮 many naked feet touch that floor before anyone cleans it… and who checks the sprayers are working well? Who cleans the brushed between? Who wipes the pump bottles between each person?… no one does!! (Gives me the ick)

You cannot beat human skill & detail on this one 💛😉

Sadly being available for last minute tans is going to be rare until I am either on study weeks or my uni breaks. I also have decided to charge an outside of hours fee if I do accept an outside of my hours tan or a tan where I have to change my life/study etc plans to drop everything to be able to tan you. Don’t forget to use the waitlist feature on the booking system or DM/email me if you do want to see if u have a last minute spot or can take you outside of my scheduled hours as it’s not impossible but if I don’t know you need the appointment I cannot give it to you 💛

🚑 LASH EMERGENCY REMOVALS! Now available ❤️‍🩹 last week I posted stories regarding concerning lash extension stuff & you all were like wow this girl knows her 💩… I got so many inboxes it really made me wonder if I am doing all yall a disservices by not offering one thing I am a nerdy expert in & can manage around my injury + uni…

Over my 10 years as an award winning lash artist I have removed or salvaged almost as many sets of other people’s work then I have applied lash sets myself… 😲 there is some really bad work out there that is painfully damaging many lash lines. There are also a huge amount of lash artists who have no clue how to manage a potential allergy or severe irritation yet stay inside of their scope of practice & keep you safe. Some don’t even know what symptom is from the adhesive and what’s from other issues… that’s scary asf! So make sure whoever removes your lashes when you’re irritated or think your extensions are ruining your lashes, KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! You only have one pair of eyes 👀

Tans are still my main focus 💛 and obviously I am still only available around uni, but if you’re having a lash emergency please DM me or book online. If you think you’re having a serious allergy please dm me but also see a dr in the next 4-6 hours… I may not see you if you’re having severe acute symptoms as it may be unsafe but if you’re not sure DM & I will reply when I can 😇

PS: I AM NOT DOING SETS OF LASH EXTENSIONS OR REFILLS, only emergency removals & lash health assessments. Sadly I am injured & can only work within my limits. Also my days of 3hr sessions if hand making fans are long gone 🤣😘
