Always such an absolute joy to colour this hair 🙌🏻
We have been growing the natural out a bit for a super low maintenance colour.
Last appointment we added some lowlights through the hair, and this time we added back a frame and smudged out some unwanted tones!
Absolutely perfect! 👌🏻

As most of my clients know, I don’t tint hair, it’s not that I can’t do it, I just think of it as harsh and it doesn’t align with my values of the colourist that I am. I like to enhance the natural hues in the hair and not hide it away. I also believe that coming into the studio should be something that you enjoy, not because it’s a chore of constant touch ups! Working with and enhancing your natural hues, is work that will last longer in between appointments but also look good up until you’re ready to come back around the 10-12-14 week mark.

It’s so interesting that no one talks about the WHY of why they are doing what they are doing when correcting/enhancing hair! I love giving my clients a full rundown of the WHY I’m colouring the the way I am to personalise their hair! I also love transforming hair, and my beautiful ladies obsessing about how good they feel when there hair is the best version of itself 💁🏼‍♀️
