I finally got my hands on my mums hair 😍
And twice in 4 weeks 😅 we couldn't help ourselves.
My mum lives in the UK so I only get a chance to do her hair once every few years.
If I hadn't done her hair and took this photo I wouldn't have believed it was my mums hair.
If you know my mum you'll know her hair is fine and very straight. She either has it down and straight or in a ponytail so I decided it was time to go shorter with some layers and blowdry it with volume and add some curls.
We loved it 😍
The curls lasted all day and to the airport. I'm waiting for an update to see if they are still in. Mum said they'd be out in an hour. I took the challenge.

This is a full head of back to back (B2B) foils, ashy/cream toner, cut and straight blowdry.
This took around 4.5 hours.
Kristie has her hair coloured approx every 6-8 months meaning she always has a big regrowth and the warmth has started coming back.
The last colour she didn't have B2B foils so she had alot of dark in there to tackle aswell.
The results ate so satisfying 🥰

Having an inspo photo is so I can be on the same page as you and aim to get the exact image you have in mind for yourself. I will always try my best to get that exact result.
I can also go through the differences of the hair in the photo and yours if there are any and explain the process to achieve certain looks.

My client booked in for the beaded method but decided to try something knew. The main reason was to get the front pieces as flat as possible, which I achieved 🙌🏻
Overall, she instantly felt less pulling but felt it was more secure. Crazy but true 😁
I can't wait to see how long they last. With the beads, she gets 6-8 weeks. I'm aiming 8-10 weeks with this method.
Only time will tell 😊

Foils 🌻
Have you ever tried having dark blonde or brown foils put in when having your highlights?
I do this for a few reasons... to create dimension, to help your blonde stand out more, to give the illusion that your blonde is lighter and as crazy as it sounds, it can help make your hair look thicker 🙌🏻 I'm sure there are more reasons.
If you want any of the above, it might be time to try a few darker foils in between your blonde foils and see the difference it makes 😊

Would you believe me if I said Zara has short fine hair? And when I say short, I mean the top layer is about 5 inches long. And that's long for her 🤗
When I first started doing Zaras hair, she couldn't get her hair to grow to her shoulders without it becoming too thin on the ends, and the front just wouldn't even get close.
I'm so happy to say the length of Zaras hair has doubled, if not more, and it's the same density from root to tip. It no longer looks straggly 🙌🏻
Here, We're using hair extensions for more volume and thickness, but that little extra length is perfect while she's still growing her hair 🥰

I've just realised I've not posted since 29th October 2021 😳
(excusing the mothers Day post earlier in the year)

It's so weird because it's the 27th of October, just 2 years later 😅

Let's say I try my best not to have a screen in front of me around my children 🙈 replying to messages takes enough time before bed. If you've ever messaged me, you'll know it's not just a quick message 🫣 I go in-depth.

I just got a feeling and the urge to do a post letting you all know that I'm back working.

To be honest, I have been back for a few months now, just working a Sunday while my partner has our boys, but I'm slowly adding more days. Easing my youngest son into daycare and myself back into work 😊 it's emotional that for sure. It's his first day today 🫣

I'll be posting more about the new dates I'm available and about my new location for those who haven't been yet 🥰
