Okay… this one felt HARD to post. 😮‍💨🔥
Because the next page is my before & after, and putting your own face under that microscope hits a little differently.
These photos are two years apart.

The top photos were taken after my very first HIFU experience.
At the time, I had a three year old and six month old and a very full life. We had travelled to Europe as a family and had the most incredible time… but somewhere amongst the beautiful blur of motherhood, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d lost a little bit of myself. I didn’t hate how I looked. I just didn’t quite recognise myself anymore…

My love affair with skin started at 20, battling rosacea whilst scrubbing my face raw with St Ives Apricot Scrub. 😭😂 Then HIFU reignited the obsession, the science, ingredients, skin conditions, treatments, results and nurturing clients all came rushing back. That moment changed everything.

Nipped Skin Clinic was born, my HIFU machine arrived two weeks later, and three months after that, we opened our doors.

Now truthfully I haven’t had an extensive amount of treatments done. Between owning a business, treating my beautiful clients and being present for my babes, I’ve squeezed my own treatments in wherever I could.

Over two years:

The changes? Calmer rosacea, lighter freckles, a less flabby chin and a much smoother neck… all while conveniently ageing two whole years. (Where did that time go?)

And just to be transparent: no Botox, no filler.

I want to grow old naturally, but also gracefully. I’m not interested in chasing 25 forever. I just want to look like the best, healthiest, most confident version of me at every age.

And maybe that’s the biggest part of this journey.

It was never really about changing my face.

It was about finding a little piece of me again.

And if sharing these photos makes even one woman feel like she can invest in herself without feeling guilty about it… then posting them was worth the vulnerability.
