If you’re wondering where I have been, I’ve been working super hard behind the scenes.

With a change of location, circumstances, loss of clients and regular income you have to adapt and change.
I have started a new page with a new name as it was VERY confusing (I remember it being confusing when I was in Karratha and people relocated businesses, so I don’t blame you!) so the new one is fresh in Margaret River 🌳

My new page is over Shine by Nicole] which is still makeup and also nails, BIAB (builder in a bottle) style, Russian/dry mani. I love this technique and style as it’s clean and elegant looking.

I have got a couple of early appointments available, which I know isn’t always ideal but on days like this it sometimes is necessary. The bonus is, because it’s cooler your makeup will easily last the entire day.

I’ve been getting a lot of messages as I know it’s ramping up to event season.

IF! And only if I get enough interest for the races and other events I’ll come up and do some makeups. But just for now I’m recovering this weary back!

I appreciate how many people have messaged and said such kind things, if the airfares weren’t such a joke I’d consider being a gypsy makeup artist.

BALL MAKEUP UPDATE
Thank you to the beautiful girls who let me know about the postponement of the ball. I am sorry, I know you would have all been so excited!
I am a person of my word and whenever it’s changed to I’ll arrange to come as I said I would. So your appointments will stand.

When the ball was postponed in 2020 it was actually such a blessing (maybe not for your teachers 🙈😂) but cooler weather means SO many more options. Hair down, not worrying you’ll sweat off your makeup dancing, more jewellery or accessories. And let face it. Summer in the Pilbara is ruthless.

But please remember you’re also allowed to be upset about it too. I know how excited you would be. So if you’re sad, that’s ok ❤️

So……. This is a bit surreal to be writing. But, with a happy, yet a little sad and terrified heart. We are going to be leaving town!
We are moving somewhere we’ve always dreamt of living and the opportunity presented itself and after the last few years we decided to jump!

Karratha High people. I will still be doing makeups for you all. PLEASE NOTE I am working from on March 26th

I never intended to open up my makeup business here. I even left my stuff in Perth for the first little while. The old 6 month plan turned into 7 years (10 for my partner)
I grew so much here. I’ve done things I could have only dreamt of before. I did the scary s**t. Supported by a community of beautiful women. I’ve made life long friends and while moving down south has always been our dream. Karratha will hold the biggest part of my heart ♥️

Andrew always said to me in the hard times. And there have been MANY here “this will be the hardest thing you ever do, but it will be the best”

And far out. He couldn’t have been more right.

Anyway if you see me over the next few days. We’re not talking about it. Because I’ll cry.

Laylas beautiful mother booked this appointment, no word of a lie almost a year ago. And I am here for it 👏🏼👏🏼
That’s something that’s such an honour to watch, a mother be SO excited to see her daughter dressed up.
One thing I always say is TAKE PHOTOS! I was such a grumpy teenager and didn’t smile or want my picture taken by my mum. And I regret that, so sorry mum. I understand now how important that was to you. And 17 year old Nicole wasn’t playing the game.
So they’re my parting words usually when they’re leaving with their mum, let her take ALL the photos. Soak it up. It’s a special day ❤️
