SKIN TAGS & MOLES — WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

SKIN TAGS
Skin tags are soft, usually harmless growths that commonly appear in areas where skin rubs together, such as:
• Neck
• Underarms
• Groin
• Under the breasts

They can be skin-coloured or slightly darker and are often attached to the skin by a small stalk.

COMMON MOLES (NAEVUS)
Moles can be flat or raised and may range from light brown to dark brown. Most are harmless, but it’s important to monitor them for changes.

⚠️ ATYPICAL / DYSPLASTIC MOLES
