This is going to be long winded, so please read until the end.

As many of you know, we have purchased our first home. 🙌
I am having my standard 2 week break over the christmas/new year period. This will be extended another 2 weeks - due to it being time for us to move into our forever home AND allow time for us to not only unpack, but to settle in as a family.
If you have already booked an appointment between the 5th-16th of January, you'll need to find an alternate option. ESPECIALLY if this is when you are *due* for an infill. By the time I could attempt to get you back in, it would be, realistically 8 weeks between appointments. And ain't nobody got time for that!
If everyone DM's me to suggest they'd like to "hold out" for me, please don't. It will be easier for myself, and your pocket, for you to go else where for this one time.

If you're going to attempt that "hold out" that your heart desires, this will require a longer appointment, (which will mean less appointments available to do so) with a full soak off, and full set needing to be done - which will be charged accordingly.
This is not the option I want people to opt for and I am strongly suggesting you do not expect me to do so.

Having this block of time off is important to me, and my little family. And I appreciate y'all understanding this. 🤍
Lastly, I was so unsure and hesitant about taking a month off, so I need to say a massive thank you to the clients I've had this week that have not only suggested and ENCOURAGED me to make this choice - but have also instilled my belief that this is the right choice for my family. 🤍

88 years young and still getting her nails done. 💅
Her fingers are full of rings and she gets the same colour every time. (The colour is also named Elizabeth).
Today's conversations included me razzing her about officially being old because she's started using a walking cane since I saw her last and how ridiculous house prices are.
I've been seeing her for quite a few years now, but our visits are few and far between, she's moved to QLD - but makes sure she gets in with me when she's visiting back here. I brought a bottle of her *Elizabeth* colour for her to take back to QLD with her. 🤍

As of the 1st of September 2025, I will be increasing the price on my builder and acrylic services.
Particularly with my builder clients, for the past 18 months, I have been using a brand that costs me over double the price of the previous brand. And I have kept the price the same.
I can no longer absorb that cost.
I also currently include a gel polish colour over the top, if requested in my price. This will change to an add on.

My prices will also be structured differently. With a short/medium category and a long category. My short clients shouldn't be paying the same amount as my medium/long clients, as their services do not take as long. Nail art prices will differ slightly - particularly detailed art on every nail.

I do not wish to price myself out of anyone's budget, you'll all be informed over the coming weeks how that price rise will affect you. It may mean you need to go shorter, have less nail art - or find a different technician that is within that budget. 🤍
I appreciate all of my wonderful girlies and their loyalty. Many have been on my books from the beginning.
I very rarely take on new client's, if I have space, or a cancellation - you'll find a notice for that on my stories. 🤍

By the end of 2025, Ideally, I would like to work less afternoons. My children's sport schedules are only increasing, and I'm finding that balance tricky to navigate.
Before the New Year starts, I always endeavor to have a work schedule that best suits our lives. This is a potential change also - but not definite. 🤍
