Woke up this morning and looked at my neon orange chipped toes (why did I pick "Greek party starter" orange??), and realized, it's been 6 weeks, and my heels were starting to exfoliate my soft winter blankets.......Time for a pedi.

As I entered a very popular shopping centre in Glen Waverley😉, I spotted a no-appointment-needed nail bar, we all know them ..... and we all know to drop our personal touch experience expectations to....get the job done as quickly as possible we need the seat..😦😢

Despite both of our heavy english accents and masks, the nail tech saw my toes and just knew. "Pedi" was the only word we both understood, and honestly, it was enough.😉😳

Now here is where this nail bar set a different standard. She offered me a cappuccino (what?!) and pulled out a pedicure kit that smelled divine, not that fake peach 🍑scented onse that made your skin itch, the moment they put it on.🙈🤯
She even steamed my legs with a facial steamer. Fancy, right?😀😁

Just when I thought it couldn't get better.....BAM......hot stone foot and leg massage. 😍

Oh, and the massage chair? It wasn’t set to "off-road in the Kalahari on a friends farm, at the back of a Toyota bakkie."
It was smooth and relaxing, for you to keep your dignity.

Brows update:

I got tons of requests to show off my Nano Brows...😊😜
I had to be patient for a couple of days until the swelling went down and the redness cleared up...but here are my perfect, amazingly natural brows.

Lyk mooi nêh. 🤩.

Not sure who’s with me, but I grew up in the era of over-tweezed eyebrows… you know, that “constantly annoyed” look? Fast forward to today......my brows are basically shy and introverted.😉🤭 Not much left to shape!

So I did what I do.....for us....☺️🫡

I volunteered my face at a beauty academy again and paid a fraction of the price for Nano Brows.
Because... natural, affordable, and brave.😬

Arrived at a gorgeous Brow Academy in Braybrook. Felt fancy. Until halfway through the mapping process (which started at 10:30am and ended at 1:30pm!) ....I realised: I’m her first real client. As in, actual skin, actual ink. Not practice latex anymore. 😳....💩💩

At that moment, while staring at the ceiling for hours with numbing cream slowly kicking in, I questioned every life choice I’d ever made. This is a tattoo, not a pencil sketch! So many things can go wrong....and it's right centred in my face....

By 3:30pm, I was done—numb, sore, over it. Left with a care pack, a stiff back, and zero emotional energy.

But ladies… this morning I woke up with fabulous, full brows. 😌👌

And I thought—maybe my life choices aren’t so bad after all.🤭🥰

Moral of the story.....be brave enough to love yourself unconditional.🌺🌺🌺

Ever just throw something on and hope for the best? 🙈
In the first pic, I did just that.....skirt, long-sleeve tee, fake Birkenstock sandals.....and yep, ended up looking wider and totally out op proportion.

But then I thought: wait, I know better!😅
In the 2nd look, I gave it a little love: 🥰

✨️Belted the waist to define my middle

✨️Tucked in the shirt - Hello shape😉

✨️Swapped the sandals for sneakers 👟
( because real life = errands) ......but tall
black boots would have nailed it too.👢

✨️ Added a long necklace to create length 📿

The result? More balance, more style, and yep, definitely looking leaner....

A few simple tweaks = total game changer
