A lived-in blonde refresh with a little more dimension 🤍

The goal in the consultation was to keep her bright, but bring back enough depth so the blonde feels softer, more expensive and grows out beautifully.

Sometimes adding dimension is exactly what makes the blonde stand out.

Something I’m navigating at the moment is understanding where my beliefs about worth actually came from.

How much of what I believe about success, productivity, being needed or doing more is actually mine…and how much of it was learned along the way.

I’m starting to question the belief systems I’ve carried for years and separate who I am from what I achieve.

I think there’s so much power in asking where the belief came from in the first place 🤍

Call it luck if that makes you feel better.

But was it luck when I was 17, earning $300 a week…
living off a 90c packet of pasta, and a loaf of bread

Commuting 2 hours each way, every day to and from work
plus another 6 hour on the train for trade school ?

Was it luck when I missed parties, festivals, friendships…
because I was committed to something bigger?

Was it luck when I worked 7 days a week…
and didn’t take a day off for over 2 years?

Was it luck when it took me 3 years just to hit 1k followers?

Was it luck when my only client cancelled…
and I sat there with an empty day?

People love to call it luck
when they don’t see what it took.

But this wasn’t luck.
It was discipline.
Consistency.
Sacrifice.
Trusting myself when there was nothing to show for it yet.

I left school at 15.
There was no backup plan.

Just a decision…
and the willingness to keep showing up.
It may look different now.
But it didn’t start that way.

6 truths that suck but will eventually make sense.

✨You will outgrow people.
Not everyone who supported the beginning of your business will understand where you’re taking it. Sometimes growth requires different people, different standards and uncomfortable decisions.

✨Being busy doesn’t mean you’re growing.
You can work 60 hours a week and still have a business that isn’t profitable. Eventually you have to stop measuring success by how exhausted you are and start looking at the numbers.

✨You can’t avoid hard conversations and build a great team.
Leadership means giving feedback, holding boundaries, addressing underperformance and sometimes letting good people go when they’re no longer right for the business.

✨What got you here probably won’t get you there.
The version of you who built the business through hustle, saying yes to everything and doing everything yourself eventually becomes the bottleneck. Growth requires you to change too.

✨More revenue doesn’t automatically mean more money.
You can have your biggest month ever and still feel broke. Bigger teams, bigger spaces and bigger numbers come with bigger expenses. Revenue is exciting; profit and cash flow keep you in business.

✨No one will care about your business as much as you do.
You can build an incredible team, but you cannot expect employees to carry the same emotional responsibility as the owner. Your job is to create systems, expectations and accountability not expect people to read your mind.

Something I spoke about at our education day was how much the inner work actually shapes the clients, opportunities and life you attract.

I’ve started asking myself a really simple question when I’m making decisions:
What would the highest version of me do here?

Not the version of me that’s scared, overthinking or trying to please everyone.
The version of me who trusts herself, backs herself and knows where she’s going.

I genuinely think the more you become that version of yourself, the more everything around you starts to meet you there 🤍

I went brunette and it lasted about 5 mins 😂 let’s go back blonde!
