When we created Ishtar Skin, we did so based on our own experiences with Gua Sha, Facial Oils and Jade Rollers. We decided to extend this experience to others. However, every time we make a sale without offering resource for education, we contribute to the erasure of the origins of Gua Sha in particular.

Being an Assyrian owned brand, we are familiar with the effects of not recognising indigeneity.

And so, We will continue to take as many opportunities as possible to recognise the origins of the tools and techniques we apply and also explore the techniques and tools available from our own identities to share with you all.
