Important update regarding the future of Halcyon Hair.

The full list of NDIS services has been released. Unfortunately, the government has not listened to the feedback and most hair services remain on the list for things the NDIS will no longer cover. This means I will not be able to provide hair services to NDIS clients.
This news has combined at a time where I have been struggling with my physical health. So I have made the very difficult decision to wind down my business over the next few months. Halcyon Hair will be closing December 24th.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of you. I have met so many incredible people over the last few years. Thank you for letting me into your homes. I’m going to miss you all.

NDIS Update:
The NDIS Bill has passed the senate today and will be put into law on Thursday. As it currently stands, hairdressing services are not included in the draft list of supports allowed under the new legislation. The government specifically included them in the draft list of services that will not be allowed. There is still a little time to hope this will change and I will be closely monitoring what’s going on and update you all accordingly. I am truly sorry for the distress I know this will cause so many of you as it has me. Please take care. I will update as I know more.

Just a quick one to let you all know that I am unfortunately FULLY BOOKED before I go on leave mid August.

I have a cancellation list for existing clients. I won't be taking on any new clients at this time.

*IMPORTANT* Hi everyone. Just putting my face on the grid to let you know that I am going on an extended period of leave from the business from August 12th to October 31st. Many of you already know and the appointments before I leave are booking up but I have a few spots left late July. So if you are wanting your hair done before I leave please get in touch.

I will still be available for administrative duties during my leave and will be able to book in your appointments for when I'm back, I just won't be doing hair.

One last BEFORE and AFTER before Christmas because I've been very slack with my posting this year. I'm still working and will have updates in the new year. I've opened up a styling (or cut and style) spot for New Year's Eve if anyone wants a glam up for their NYE party or just for life because you deserve it 🥰

Welcome to Spring! I hope you're as excited as me.

Believe it or not, this is two colours. Brown all over with copper applied using balayage techniques. Looks quite copper here because it popped in the sunlight. Sometimes, the best way to get a dynamic all over colour is to use more than one colour. I do this using many techniques to suit different budgets.

I know I've been quiet here. Combination of reasons for that. But I am still working. Usually booked at least 2 weeks in advance, if you're after an appointment, please keep that in mind.

As always, this colour was achieved using colours. Vegan, ammonia free, low allergen, low scent.
