WELCOME TO MEG BOURKE BEAUTY STUDIO

With lots of new followers and faces and because I haven’t introduced myself properly to you all, I thought now would be the perfect time to show my face 😊

I’m Meg, 24 years old and have been in the beauty industry for 6 years & this is the 2nd year I’ve had my own little home based salon.

Ever since I can remember, hair & makeup has always been my dream career. The passion started with having to do hair and makeup for dance concerts when I was younger 🩰

My journey started by finishing year 12 at Our Lady of Sion College, Box Hill then working and completing my hairdressing apprenticeship in a salon in Warranwood. Here I also undertook makeup education and 1:1 lessons to soon offering makeup services in the salon.

ABOUT ME…
I am the eldest of 3 with 2 younger (but look older because they are TALL) brothers Toby and Noah
If I’m not working you’ll find me at the gym.
I currently live at home with my family where my salon is based (thanks mum & dad 😘) however my boyfriend and I are about to begin building our first home together 🏡
I have 2 dogs Ollie & Frankie (who I surprised my family with one random day when I was in year 12 😂😅)

Being both a qualified hairdresser and a trained makeup artist means I offer a range of services that keep me busy all throughout the week. I’m extremely passionate about my job. I love what I do so so much and take lots of pride in my work and my salon.

With my business constantly growing, it meant that this year it was time to update and expand my space. (Updated pics will be posted soon - I’m just waiting on my final furniture piece to arrive 😭)
