Skin Cancer Removal | 4 Weeks Post-Surgery

Not all upper eyelid puffiness is caused by excess skin or fat.

In some patients, a pr*****ed lacrimal (tear) gland contributes to fullness in the outer upper eyelid. During an appropriately selected upper blepharoplasty, the gland can be carefully repositioned and secured back to its normal anatomical location rather than removed.

These intraoperative images demonstrate the identification and fixation of a pr*****ed lacrimal gland as part of the surgical procedure.

Every patient requires an individual assessment, and not all cases of upper eyelid fullness are due to lacrimal gland prolapse or are suitable for this approach.

Prominent Ear (Otoplasty) Correction

This patient underwent otoplasty to address prominent ears and improve ear position and symmetry.
