Lots of my clients ask me about their under eyes being sunken or hollow and the first approach is surprisingly not to treat that area but to volume replace the cheeks or mid face.
The midface, specifically the anterior cheek, acts as the foundation that everything above it rests on.
The soft tissue lifts. The transition from the lower lid to the cheek softens. The light reflects more evenly across the face.
when we restore the mid face the trough needs far less product than you thought, if it needs any at all sometimes just some hydration is all that’s needed to brighten and correct the under eyes area.
The mid face first without foundation the face falls.

We live in a world obsessed with looking younger-
but sometimes uncomfortable with how it’s achieved.
We’ll spend years, money, and effort chasing anti-ageing... as long as it looks effortless and suit’s our opinion of it.
But the moment it’s intentional, precise, medical-it becomes controversial.
This is not about promoting injectables.
It’s about removing the hypocrisy around them.
Because like everything else in aesthetics:
• There’s good work
• There’s bad work
• And there’s a lot of misinformation
We chase anti-ageing and beauty with dying our grey hair , straightening our teeth , hair extensions, facials , laser peel , wearing makeup and having our nails done , as soon as it’s with a needle we start to judge anti-ageing differently..

Last night i attended training to help my clients who have had rapid weight loss on GLP-1 medications, consequently rapid facial changes occurring due to Weight loss medication.
Medication driven weight loss has skyrocketed in the last 12months . Most clients are happy at the beginning but after losing 20+ kg begin to look more than 5 years older due to their facial aesthetic changes .
-Rapid weight loss causes rapid degradation of fat cells, collagen and elastin causing dull dehydrated skin .
- Structural disorganisation in the bones and muscles.
- Extracellular degradation in the dermis of the skin causes thinning and sagging .
Weight loss medication makes you burn fat faster than normal weight loss management, it has double the power so more rapid loss of adipose fat tissue like in your face. This makes you look much older as you lose more weight.
When you lose fat you don’t choose where you lose it. We lose it everywhere and that includes the important fat and muscles in the face .
You only need to lose 5% of your body weight to notice changes , imagine what losing 20kg looks like facially .
Losing 20kg at 35yo is not the same as losing 20kg at 55. Aging is very different at different ages. The older the more likely the facial aesthetic changes.
We need 3 ingredients in the skin , Collagen , Elastin and fat so preserving these are so important when starting Weight loss medication.
