Last week my nails didn’t set well. They had ridges and lumps and the top coat took ages to set. The activator was nearly finished and very cloudy. Today I applied a fresh activator to the same too and base coat and it set fast and the top coat set evenly and perfectly. Don’t mind the odd flecks of glitter in this set.

How to file your DIPD. Start with the boarders. Make sure you’re filing the natural nail underneath by angling the file slightly under the nail. Use the crescent edge to hook in and around the cuticle transition on an angle so the natural nail to DIPD is seamless. Focus on shaving bulk around the cuticle and sides. Gently file over the top to smooth and create curve. Avoid taking too much product from the thickness over the belly of the nails and tips to ensure strength. The goal is to creat a natural looking nail shape and retaining strength of manicure.
