I’ve been a Registered Nurse for the majority of my life working at one of Melbourne’s busiest A&E hospitals. I want nothing more than…me time.
It has always been mentally and emotionally rewarding and a large part of my identity. However when I do finally clock off, I want nothing more than to unwind. Basking in the sun with a friendly floral flurry, the sensation and smell of rolling around in fresh bed sheets, reading by the window on a lazy afternoon with the subtle scent of fresh flowers. I’ve discovered that my doorways to relaxation can be somewhat subtle yet profound. So this is my attempt to share this with you.
