So, when beauty trends hit the market, it's no surprise that some of these may not be all they claim to be. But how do you know what's fact and what's fiction?

We've broken down some recent trends below:

🥩 Beef Tallow - While rich in fatty acids and a great moisturiser, it can clog pores, cause breakouts and is not refined for cosmetic stability.
🧊 Ice Facials - Can reduce puffiness and inflammation. It also tightens the appearance of pores temporarily. Not a long-term fix, but a great short-term solution.
🪥 Toothpaste For Pimples - Can burn and irritate the skin, harm the skin barrier and damage natural moisture.
🐌 Snail Mucin - Great for hydrating and for skin barrier support. Supports a subtle difference in glow.
🍋 Lemon Juice - incredibly acidic and harmful to the skin. It can cause pigmentation in sunlight.

And since we're now settled into the month of love, we wanted to take the time to chat lip balm trends. Wanting to produce something this year? Flavours people are currently raving about include:

As a proud Wonnarua woman, my beautiful client set out to create something that truly honours her powerful heritage ✨

Meaning Moon in the Wonnarua language, Yalana Fragrances is a heartfelt tribute to her story and her home: the land now known as the Hunter Valley region.

Each of the three fragrances captures a spirit of exploration, taking you on a sensory journey inspired by place, culture and connection. Thoughtfully designed to be perfectly travel-sized, they’re made to journey with you wherever the world beckons.

Working on this project has been an absolute privilege. We can’t wait to see Yalana Fragrances launch on 7 March, and we’ll be proudly following this incredible success story for many years to come 🩷

We wanted to take the time to reach out and thank you for an amazing 2025. We couldn't have achieved the success we have this year without amazing customers like you.

While we're winding down to spend some much-needed time with family (yes, including the fur-family), we are also already amping up for 2026. We can't wait to share all of the amazing projects that are in the works ✨

Does your dog hate bath time? 🫧

Most dogs know the dreaded words "Bath time" and give us all a giggle as they walk into the shower with their heads hanging! But once they're out, they often behave like puppies again, running around doing goofy things and bringing a big smile to everyone's faces!

Whilst some dogs will never learn to love the bath, there are many things you can do to make their experience as enjoyable as possible. Our favourite tips include:

🐕 Provide treats before, during and after
🐩 Use a shampoo that is mild and designed for animals (not humans)
🐶 Keep soap away from their eyes
🐕 Build a positive & calm environment
🐶 Add a shower mat to stop slipping either in the tub or the shower

It ensures that I know every detail that goes into every product. It guarantees I know that working conditions are great and that products are made with ethics in mind. It also confirms that each person involved in the process shares the same vision and dream ⭐
