WICKED GARDEN.
Neroli wakes the morning air,
A silver-bright, citrine affair—
Soft petals kissed by dawning light,
A whisper fresh, a spirit bright.

Ylang ylang blooms where warmth resides,
A golden hush the sun confides;
Its velvet breath, both sweet and slow,
Unfolds where summer currents flow.

Together in the glowing breeze,
They weave a dream through drifting leaves—
A dance of spark and sultry calm,
Of citrus glow and tropic balm.

Two flowers twined in warm embrace,
They paint the wind with gentle grace;
A summer song, both wild and true—
Neroli’s shine, ylang’s soft hue.

Summer arrives on the breath of warm wind,
carrying stories in its scented hands—
sun-warmed citrus from a market stall,
grass crushed beneath bare feet,
salt rising from the ocean like a memory
you didn’t know you missed.

People soften in this season.
They move slower, speak lighter.
Sunscreen, jasmine, smoky barbecues—
each fragrance a small invitation
to step outside of worry.
The whisper of eucalyptus at dusk,
