Grateful for the opportunities that continue to come my way. 🤍

I’ve really been focusing on growing my education this year. Saying yes to more, putting myself out there and pushing myself beyond what feels comfortable.

It isn’t always the easy choice or the safe choice. There’s still fear, self-doubt and those moments where staying comfortable would be SO much easier.

But I keep reminding myself…

Either the fear goes away, or the opportunities do.

So I’m choosing to keep stepping outside my comfort zone, backing myself and seeing where it takes me. ✨

HIGH IMPACT, LOW EFFORT 🎨✨

The goal: take this cool blonde bob and bring back warmth, dimension + a golden glow.

Initially, I was going to keep it simple and gloss the existing blonde with a golden toner.

But after looking at the hair, I decided a strategic freehand paint would give me so much more.

Rather than just shifting the tone, painting allowed me to create shape within the colour, add a little more interest and dimension, and give the result more longevity as it grows out.

Sometimes you don’t need a full head of foils or a huge colour overhaul to make an impact, just intentional placement in the right places.

FORMULA ✍🏼
Prepped with K18 Hair
Freehand painted with .australia
Gloss toner:
9.0 + 10.03 + 1g 9.03 + 1g 8.4

The result: a dimensional, glossy golden blonde that feels warmer, richer and completely refreshed. ✨

High impact. Low effort. Intentional colour.

Feathering the baby hairs away before you paint isn’t just tidiness, it’s protection. 🪶

Your client sees those hairs before the color goes on, so there’s zero room for “wait, did you break my hairline?” after the fact.

Bonus: those feathered-out hairs become a natural root shadow giving you a softer, more seamless blend where the color meets the hairline.

Small step but a huge difference in the finished result (and in your client trusting you).

This is the kind of detail we go deep on in class

SLEEK. SNATCHED. POLISHED. ✨

The chic sleek bun, one of my favourite ways to take day-two (or five 😅🤣) hair and make it feel intentional.

For me, the secret to a truly snatched finish is all in the prep + the details.

Starting with scalp oil to create that glossy, wet-look finish ✨

I section out a front triangle from the middle part before building my ponytail. This is a small step that makes all the difference when it comes to creating a clean centre part and controlling the hairline.

Then it’s all about the right brush, tension + direction to get everything smooth and snatched before twisting the ponytail into a polished bun and finessing those final details.

SO simple, but it’s these little details that take it from just a slick bun to sleek, snatched + chic.

Part 2 of my Snatched Bun Series ✨

1. Let down your triangle section and create a clean centre part.

2. Using your slick brush, smooth each side back and add it into your ponytail. Secure with an elastic.

3. Twist the ponytail around itself to create a polished bun. I sometimes leave the ends out for a little extra finesse 👌🏼

4. Finish with hairspray and use your brush to detail and smooth everything into place.

What tip were you missing from your slick bun routine? 👀

The secret to a SNATCHED slick bun 👀 Part 1.

If you can never get your slick bun looking quite as sleek as you want it, these are the first 3 things I do:

1. Scalp oil
Not only does this double as a scalp treatment, it gives you that glossy, wet-look finish that makes a slick bun look SO good.

2. Section out your middle part
Starting from your centre part, section out a small triangle at the front and clip it away. This is KEY to getting that super clean middle part. Trust me — we’ll add it back in later.

3. Your brush matters
The brush you use makes SUCH a difference. I’ve linked my favourite one in the video.

Or comment “SLEEK” and I’ll send you my full slick-back bundle ✨

Save this for your next slick bun & come back for Part 2, where we add that top section back in and get it SNATCHED.
