In support of the Good Friday Appeal, every service today is being donated to the Children’s Hospital. It’s a small gesture, but one that feels incredibly meaningful to all of us.

As an academy we have always believed that hair is more than what we do. It is connection, it is care, it is the way we show up for others.

Today our chairs, our hands and our craft are part of something bigger. To come together as a team and be part of something that supports children and families when they need it most is something we are so grateful for.

MEET NICHOLAS🖤

Nicholas has been part of the industry for 15 years, with a passion that started young watching his mum work behind the chair. Drawn to the colour room early on, he would experiment and mix shades, a curiosity that has stayed with him throughout his career.

He approaches hair with a hands on and considered mindset, enjoying the process of building colour and seeing ideas come to life.

Whether it’s something bold or more wearable, Nicholas is all about creating results that feel right for the individual.

As an educator, Nicholas is passionate about working with students, encouraging them to explore, experiment, and build confidence in their own approach.

He values creating a space where learning feels supportive, practical, and inspiring.
Outside of work, he likes to stay active, whether that’s at the gym, in the pool, or spending time with friends. He enjoys getting out, exploring new suburbs, and experiencing different spaces and environments.

Nicholas brings a calm, focused energy to everything he does, with a genuine enjoyment for both the craft and the people he works with.

Carmel leads with presence, her inspiring fashion and fearless use of colour reflecting a deep sense of individuality and creative confidence.

A quiet strength shaped by decades in the industry, guiding BIBA from a single salon into an enduring creative institution.

Her leadership is instinctive, grounded in experience, elevated by vision, and driven by a deep respect for the craft and the people within it.

She understands that true creativity doesn’t come from noise, but from stillness.
