Cosmetic Nurse Injector

Itâs been 2 years since the TGA first introduced the changes in advertising cosmetic services.
Change is always difficult, and it feels like weâre still adapting even now.
The treatments we offer are medical procedures where in depth consultations are crucial.
I do agree that at first, it seems confusing and unclear. But I think that the regulations can be empowering for the consumer and highlights the importance of a thorough discussion about your concerns. It also provides you the opportunity to know your practitioner before deciding to go ahead with a treatment.
Has the new regulations changed your views on cosmetic treatments?

Pain perception during cosmetic treatments is influenced by much more than whatâs happening at the skin level.
Stress, sleep, past experiences, and how safe you feel all play a role â which is why I focus on education, communication, and support, not rushing or minimising concerns.
If youâve been curious but hesitant, a consultation allows us to talk through your worries and tailor support to you.

Endlessly grateful to be in this industry, for all the relationships Iâve built with colleagues & patients, knowledge & skills Iâve gained, and for your trust and support in me đ
As with any medical treatments, there are possible risks & side effects so itâs very understandable that there are concerns, fears and worries you want to discuss before going ahead.
Itâs my role to help you be as informed as you can and guide you in addressing your cosmetic concerns.
Itâs just as important for you to ask questions, do your research, and find someone you can trust before investing in treatments.
Choosing to have cosmetic treatments should feel empowering, but since everyone has different goals, concerns, budget etc - the whole journey should also be personalised.
Consultations are available to discuss your skin, cosmetic, & weight loss concerns.
Hereâs why we take a full face approach when it comes to volume loss:
- We lose volume in multiple areas and treating in isolation can affect facial balance and harmony
- Volume loss affects facial structures that affect the bone, fat, and skin
- To prevent an unnatural or unbalanced look
To make an informed decision about your treatment, make sure to do your research and find a practitioner that prioritises your safety and long term wellbeing.

If your skin feels tight, reactive, or always angry/sensitive, your barrier maybe be asking for support (we all need it sometimes!)
A less but smarter approach is the way to go: a gentle cleanse, simple yet hydrating base, daily sun protection, and a slow and steady journey with actives (e.g. retinol)
Your skin needs a routine that actually suits your skin and schedule.

When you sit face to face with someoneâs anatomyâlayer by layerâyou gain more than knowledge. You gain deep respect for the responsibility we hold as aesthetic practitioners.
Yesterday, I attended a cadaver anatomy course led by to sharpen my understanding of facial structure, vessels, and the intricate layers beneath the skin. Why? Because your safety, natural results, and trust are not things I take lightly.
If youâre considering cosmetic treatments, choose a practitioner who puts education, ethics, and your wellbeing firstâalways.
Letâs chat about your goals and whatâs safely possible for your unique face.
