Hi All, feeling sad . Packing up my salon today , installing kitchen & shower & finishing off basement area . Need to rent out to bring money in . Hand still not able to use properly without pain , working with a hand Therapist and still hopeful to get back to hairdressing and when l do l will look to rent a space or . Buy a salon with staff and me just manager, work on all my favourite customers and friends . So will let you know ,,as soon as l do for the salon part . Meanwhile when are you free for a catch up . Update : good news yesterday from the hand therapist . I can drive full time now , brace is off , only needed when it's over tired and causing pain . Exercises 3 times a day to start strengthening . Have another appointment in 3 weeks . Thanks 😊

New year , New Healthy Food and Lifestyle . Getting to the bottom of my health. Back to the hand therapist Tuesday , to see what's happening next with my hand , after 2 operations and a infection . Fingers crossed rehab can start to build the strength back . Good news l can drive now Yay . Second development is l have been diagnosed with Autoimmune Disease- Hashimoto - & Under active Thyroid. Making my way through some dietary changes. Gluten free, diary free, super free , and other things . Positive is l am looking forward to feeling great with loads of new energy . Would appreciate any Gluten free tips, what's good , please share your recipes. Thanks 😊 Hoping to be back hairdressing as soon as l am able . 🤗💇‍♀️💇‍♀️💇‍♀️

Update : went to hospital today to have the wire removed and the brace off . After an ex ray it needs to be done by surgery. I am booked in for day surgery tomorrow .

Afternoon , l am informing you all that KR Hair Wizardry will be closed until further notice. I have broken my thumb & all the ligaments around it , have pulled away from the bone . I have been told my recovery will be long 6-12 mths . I am trying to get a step in hairdresser . Will be in touch if anything changes. Meanwhile the salon is open for retail product sales . If you need your colour recipe to get you through , please text me and keep in touch as I will miss seeing you all . Feels weird and sad as my customers are also my friends . Take care Kathryn xx

After seeing the plastic surgeon & hand therapist yesterday, l have been told recovery will be a long process with massive amounts of hand therapy after operation. 6-8 months before back to work . Feeling stressed out . Looking for a hairdresser to take over my business whilst l am recovering.

Waiting on hand surgery, spent the night in Frankston hospital after a fall . To find l have Avulsion fracture of the left thumb . I have torn all the ligaments off the bone & broken the bone . And broken my toe . Currently plastered before they do the surgery. 6-8 weeks recovery & massive amount of hand therapy after , l have been told . If anyone knows a hairdresser , that could help out with my business . Please give me a shout . Thanks Kath xx
