About our Repair Cream 😍.

Our popular organic Repair Cream has been created to help restore moisture to the skin and promote skin healing. The Repair Cream is a rich, readily absorbed cream that is non-greasy, which leaves the skin feeling highly moisturised and velvety smooth.

It has been designed for all dry skin conditions and sensitive skin, and is ideal for babies to adults. It is safe for the whole family to use, and is very effective. The star ingredients used to make this cream have been selected for their nourishing properties, including Avocado oil, Rosehip oil, Evening Primrose oil, Calendula Oil and Aloe Vera. Its beautiful fragrance consists of German Chamomile Oil and Lavender Oil, however they have only been added for their therapeutic purposes!

It works extremely well in conjunction with our Pure Soothing Balm for SUPERIOR moisturising and PROTECTION. To achieve this, first apply the Repair Cream and then apply the balm over the top of it. The balm will act as a barrier to the elements outside of the skin.

No harsh chemicals, No Parabens, No artificial colours or fragrances.

This product is not a replacement for cortisone.

Dear Customers, in the next couple of weeks, I’ll be making a batch of my hand-made, natural skin care product called the Repair Cream. This cream is a easily absorbed and feels very rich due to its vegetable oil content. It is highly nourishing, moisturising and non greasy, ideal for dry, sensitive skin including eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis. It delightfully scented with the therapeutic essential oils of Lavender and German Chamomile.

A Winters tip: if you find that creams don’t moisturise or coat your skin enough, don’t be afraid to try moisturising with plain oils. My favourite oil to use on dry hands is avocado oil, coconut oil and even olive oil. Or a combination of vegetable oils. The only draw back is that it makes somethings that you touch slightly oily (especially the mobile phone screen). But sometimes you have to do what you need to do! I oil my hands at different times in the day depending on what I’m doing. I do a lot of washing so oiling my hands is like a barrier for my skin too.

Our 2019 health journey:
Bound By Nurture is predominantly about natural living. I began this business to help others who have suffered or seen their loved ones suffering through stages of dermatitis and eczema. It has been rewarding to see the lives of you and your little ones improve. I’m blessed to have been a part of that. Yes, I do sell natural, plant-based skin care, but my philosophy is based upon holistic living. So that means what we put on, in or do with our bodies.
If you are like me, when you read about various diseases that humans in this modern century currently face, many of them are due to what we put into and what we do with our bodies. Many of them can be improved through lifestyle changes. I have another passion other than skincare and that is learning more about nutrition and how this impacts our cells and how our bodies can function better when we feed it the right foods. It has been a journey for me and my family (the guinea piggies) as I try to eat and cook whole foods. In particular I’m trying to increase the amount of vegetables in our diet, but making them tasty so that we all actually enjoy eating it! Learning to cook more of a variety of dishes, experimenting, getting out of comfort zones and attempting new things. It is a process of learning and discovering, and one that I enjoy. So if you are on a journey to improve your health, I hope you find resources and others to support you along the way. As I learn, I’ll post what I find interesting here this year in 2019.
