As the week closes, I’ve been reflecting on how easy it is to overlook our own progress.
We tend to notice what remains unfinished.
The sleep that is still inconsistent.
The body that still feels unpredictable.
The habit we didn’t maintain perfectly.
The moments when confidence disappeared again.
But growth is rarely a straight line—especially through perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause.
There are ebbs and flows.
Times of clarity and times of uncertainty.
Moments when we feel powerful, followed by days when we question whether anything is changing at all.
This week’s lunar journey offers a beautiful metaphor for that process:
We name what we want.
We move through honest feelings.
We find our faith again.
Then we begin building.
That is how meaningful transformation often happens—not through one dramatic reinvention, but through cycles of awareness, adjustment and recommitment.
With Virgo season drawing to a close and the spring equinox approaching here in Australia, we are moving towards a new season associated with balance, beauty and relationships.
Let this moment be a bridge.
Rest.
Look back at how far you have already come.
Then choose the one or two rituals you want to carry into the next season—not because you need to fix yourself, but because they support the woman you are becoming.
Midlife can feel uncertain because the old ways no longer work in quite the same way and the new way has not yet fully revealed itself.
But you are not back at the beginning.
You are bringing your experience, wisdom, self-awareness and every lesson you have already earned.
You are not starting over.
You are continuing—and that may be the more powerful thing.
As Virgo season ends, what have you learned about the way you want to live?

“I’ve tried everything……and nothing seems to work.”
This is one of the most common things women tell me.
They have tried a supplement for sleep, a diet for weight gain, skincare for the changes in their face and more exercise for their energy.
Sometimes something helps briefly.
Then life becomes stressful, sleep changes again or another symptom appears, and it feels as though they are back at the beginning.
Eventually, the frustration becomes deeper than the symptoms.
It becomes:
“Why can’t I make anything stick?”
“Why does my body no longer respond?”
“What am I missing?”
The problem is rarely a lack of effort.
Often, you have accumulated an enormous amount of information without having a personalised sequence for applying it.
Vision without commitment stays a wish.
But commitment without vision becomes a chore.
When you don’t understand what your body needs first, every new protocol becomes another task to manage.
And when you’re already exhausted and overwhelmed, even good advice can feel like more pressure.
Real change often begins when we stop asking:
“What else should I add?”
And begin asking:
“What is creating the greatest strain - and what does my body need first?”
That may be sleep.
It may be nervous-system stabilisation.
It may be nourishment, movement, recovery or recognising a pattern that no isolated solution has addressed.
The Midlife Reset™ is designed to help women make sense of that connected picture and create a personalised pathway forward.
You don’t need another pile of information.
You need clarity about what matters for you.
If you’re ready to stop piecing it together alone, book a Midlife Clarity Call through the link in my bio or message me RESET.

Most women don’t seek help after one difficult night.
They seek help when weeks or months of disrupted sleep begin affecting everything else.
They’re tired—but often wired at bedtime.
They become more reactive over little things.
Their patience disappears.
They struggle to focus at work, reach for food or w**e to get through the evening, and then feel guilty because the people they love are receiving the most depleted version of them.
Eventually, the words come:
“I don’t feel like myself anymore.”
This is where sleep stops being a nighttime problem.
It becomes an energy problem.
A confidence problem.
A relationship problem.
A quality-of-life problem.
And it can leave an otherwise capable woman wondering why she can no longer cope with things she once handled easily.
You are not weak. You are not failing at midlife.
Your sleep, changing hormones, nervous system, stress load, nourishment and daily rhythms are connected.
When we keep treating each symptom in isolation, it is easy to miss the pattern underneath.
The catalyst for change is often not becoming more disciplined.
It is reaching the moment when you say:
“I can’t keep doing this the same way.”
That sentence is not defeat. It can be the beginning of something better.
If poor sleep is changing your mood, energy or sense of self, I invite you to book a Midlife Clarity Call.
Because you deserve to feel “like YOU” again 💕
We’ll look at what is happening in the bigger picture and identify the first area that may help your body feel supported again.

What if brain fog can be real without meaning your brain is deteriorating?
A new longitudinal brain-imaging study involving 1,095 people compared structural brain changes across puberty, pregnancy and menopause.
The researchers found that menopause showed its own distinct pattern. Importantly, it did not show the accelerated loss of brain volume that many women may fear.
This does not dismiss the very real experience of brain fog, memory changes or shifts in mood.
MRI volume measures only one aspect of brain health, and researchers still need longer-term studies.
But it does offer us a more hopeful and accurate reframe:
A changing brain is not automatically a damaged brain.
I thought because I couldn’t remember names I must be experiencing a decline in memory…
Can you relate?
Menopause represents a significant biological transition. Our brains and bodies may need greater support through changing sleep, stress, hormones and nervous-system demands.
That is very different from accepting a story of inevitable deterioration.
This is central to the philosophy behind The Midlife Reset™: understanding what is changing, supporting the whole woman and helping her move forward with greater clarity rather than fear.
Save this for the days when brain fog makes you question yourself, or share it with a woman who needs this reassurance.

Before you make another decision, take one slow breath.
This Women’s Health Week, “Do it anyway” might mean creating one small moment of safety inside your body.
One of my clients I have been working with said to me recently …
“I can’t believe something so simple could have such a big impact on my stress levels”
We had been working on creating “spaces” of time in her day so she could become more grounded, clearer & sleep better at night.
The Grounded Woman™ is not living a stress-free life.
But she DOES feels calmer, clearer and less reactive.
She is sleeping better and has more capacity to respond rather than simply survive.
This is the first level above the turning point on the Radiance Index™ I teach in my mentoring program.
And it matters because meaningful change becomes easier when your nervous system no longer feels as though it must constantly protect you.
You can actually feel your shoulders relax…
One breath won’t resolve everything.
But it can interrupt the pattern, create a pause and remind your body that you can take a moment to collect your thoughts & get creative with solutions.
Do it anyway, not because you need to perform wellness perfectly, but because you deserve to feel at home in yourself again.
If you would like to discover what could help you cross your own turning point,

What if the brave thing you “do anyway” today is rest?
So many women I see in clinic & for menopause consulting are constantly busy, caring for everyone else and carrying a mental load few people can see. This is what I call The Overextended Woman™️
She is tired but wired.
Her sleep isn’t restorative, her thoughts feel scattered and even small decisions are becoming overwhelming.
Yet rest can feel like one more thing she has to earn.
This Women’s Health Week, we’re being reminded that rest is not laziness or a reward for finishing everything.
It is part of looking after our health.
“Do it anyway” might mean closing the laptop, saying no, going to bed earlier or asking someone else to carry part of the load.
You can be highly capable and still need support.
If you know something needs to change but don’t know where to begin, apply for a complimentary Midlife Clarity Call.
Together, we can explore the patterns connecting your stress, sleep, hormones, energy and daily rhythms—and whether The Midlife Reset™ is right for you.

What if you’re not unmotivated… you’re simply depleted?
You’re still getting through the day. Still doing what needs to be done. Still showing up for the people who depend on you.
But underneath it all, you feel exhausted behind the eyes, disconnected from yourself and as though there is nothing left in reserve.
This is what I call The Survival Mode Self™.
It isn’t a personal failing—and it isn’t something you should have to push through indefinitely.
When your hormones, nervous system, sleep, stress load and energy are all influencing one another, simply trying harder is rarely the answer.
The first step is understanding what your body has been trying to tell you.
If you’re ready to move beyond “just getting through the day,” apply for a complimentary Midlife Clarity Call.
Together, we’ll explore where you are now, what may be keeping you there and whether The Midlife Reset™ is the right next step for you.

A little honesty about self-doubt…
You would think that after more than 30 years working with women, skin, health and wellbeing, I would feel completely confident stepping into the next evolution of my work.
But whenever we expand into something new, that little voice can still appear:
Who am I to do this?
Do I know enough?
What will people think?
Some call it imposter syndrome. But for many women, it may also come from decades of learning not to take up too much space.
Now, at 60, I’m less interested in proving myself and more committed to sharing what I know.
That means bringing together skin health, menopause, nervous system regulation and cellular longevity through The Midlife Reset™—and helping women understand what is happening beneath the surface so they can feel like themselves again.
Self-doubt doesn’t always mean you aren’t ready.
Sometimes it means you’re standing at the edge of your next chapter.
If you’re curious about The Midlife Reset™, my clinic treatments or the cellular-health products I personally use, my messages are always open.

At 60, I’m far more interested in being strong, capable and metabolically resilient than simply weighing less.
Protein is central to that.
As women move through menopause and ageing, preserving muscle becomes increasingly important. Yet many women are still eating as little as possible while expecting their bodies to maintain strength, energy and recovery.
Protein provides amino acids used throughout the body, including for:
• maintaining and repairing muscle
• producing enzymes and signalling molecules
• supporting skin structure
• recovering from training
• supporting satiety and steadier nourishment
But protein alone isn’t the whole answer.
The body also needs a reason to retain and build muscle—which is why protein and resistance-based movement work together.
I try to include a meaningful source of protein across my meals rather than leaving most of it until dinner.
This isn’t about pursuing a perfect number.
It is about asking:
Am I nourishing the body I want to live in for the next 20, 30 or 40 years?
Tomorrow I’m sharing why I deliberately challenge my muscles—and why strength is about so much more than appearance.
