If your sets keep lifting, don’t blame the product just yet 👀
Sometimes the problem starts BEFORE the acrylic, builder gel or Gel X even touches the nail.
Poor prep can affect your entire set.
If there’s still cuticle on the nail plate, dust left behind or the surface hasn’t been prepped correctly, your product has less chance of holding properly.
Good prep helps you get:
✔️ Better retention
✔️ Cleaner cuticle application
✔️ Less lifting
✔️ Smoother product placement
✔️ A more polished finish
This is why I always tell my students:
Don’t rush prep just because you want to get to the “fun part” 😅
The prettier your foundation, the easier the rest of your application becomes.
Technique isn’t only about how you apply the product.
It’s everything you do BEFORE it too.

Sometimes the difference between a follower and a client is one sentence.
Not a rebrand.
Not new photos.
Not lower prices.
One sentence that takes her from "I would love that someday" to "oh, that is easy, let me just send a photo."
We forget that what feels obvious to us is a maze to her.
We know the difference between classic, hybrid and volume.
We know how far in advance to book.
We know what the appointment involves.
She knows none of it, and nobody wants to look silly asking.
The kindest thing your content can do is remove every tiny bit of guesswork between her and the chair.
