The new salon is officially up and running! Now with a fully functioning professional basin (no more portable basin) some other new additions and a fresh new look. Now located in Frankston and taking clients, all services available. Feel free to book an appointment or spread the word if you know someone looking for a hairdresser ☺️

Hey everyone, as you may know my services have been pretty limited during covid and now in the midst of relocation. I’ll still be working mobile starting up again from November 15th mainly in the Strathbogie ranges area, will be happy to take appointments closer to Melbourne when I am in the area (I come to you) please let me know if you are interested/know someone who might be interested and we can plan things from there, Thankyou

Due to unforeseen circumstances eclipse hair and beauty will be remaining closed after lockdown until relocation, my apologies in advance for people who were looking forward to resuming their appointments as normal.

Sorry for any inconvenience to those of you who were looking forward to having their hair done in the near future. As I do not have a separate entrance to the salon from the residence I will not be able to operate from home for a little while longer than those who have their salons separate from their residence. Looking forward to re connecting with you all when the time is right, also hope everyone is coping okay with this years events and circumstances ❤️

A huge thankyou to my Dad for helping me get the salon up and running in a new exciting way, things are going to be better than it’s ever been before! 🙂
This is a double sided hair station so if you would like to have your hair done at the same time as your friend or partner you’re more than welcome to bring them along as I will be able to work 2 clients at the same time with 2 new salon chairs on their way aswell!

lots more exciting updates and upgrades to come as I redesign my whole salon, also better pictures to come when I have given the basin a good clean and have it fully set up and running 🙂

I have been doing Tayla’s hair since the start of the year when she came to me with an old foil balayage looking to take it lighter and higher. The first time we did exactly that, solid bleaching over the old colour to bring it to the same colour as the new balayage, this actually took some double bleaching and toners to remove those stubborn tones from the old colour. The next time the regrowth was due Tayla was ready to step it up a notch and go the full scalp bleach, the results were amazing so we have done this the last 2 times! Always with a lovely silver toner. However the undertones of the old foil balayage are so stubborn! so unfortunately we can see where I have started doing the hair to where the old hairdresser stopped. Though there is not much we can do until the old colour in the ends grow out, Tayla’s hair will be whiter and brighter from the roots down everytime! ☺️ photos don’t do justice as there is no root shadow, the photos just make it look that way

it was time to upgrade after having my first set of scissors for 4 years without a sharpen, they served me well and stayed very sharp over the years, so I will go no place other than Excellent Edges for all my scissor needs and servicing ☺️

Some other things that may interest you is that I have replaced my (loud) clippers and mini trimmers with brand new Wahl ones, now have a waterproof colour wrap (for those of you who still get a little bit wet at the basin) and also (finally) got a handheld mirror so I can show your haircuts from behind when they are finished 🙂 not to mention a brand new heavy duty trolley to hold all my equipment and colour bowls/brushes while I am doing your hair. Lots of changes and upgrades going on in the Eclipse Hair & Beauty Salon ☺️ soon to come a new mirror and salon chair!
