I love this so much. Such a fun little colour pop- but kept in neutrals, and peekaboo so it flashes through as a little surprise when the hair moves. can be done in so many creative ways, and such a fun modern technique!
Bella- what a gorgeous head of curly hair to work on! We did a pop of pink framing the face, and a fresh cut and style.
Curls love hydration so the focus was on treating the hair with absolut repair masque, and then the absolut repair molecular leave in treatment. Finger twirling for definition using a moisture locking gel. Touch ups for the pink at home with

Some huge transformations are happening this week in the salon! New look for the new year- and I’m here for it! was a blondie before today, and had been contemplating on copper hair for awhile! My advice is if you keep thinking about it- just do it! We both loved the result so much and it completely brightened her complexion too!

Sami arrived at the salon yesterday with loooong hair to chop off for donation to . Have a look at the length in those ponytails!
To donate hair the ponytails are required to be a minimum of 20cm once braided, and Sami had up to 39cm for hers! We prepare the hair, cut it and then send it off to be used for wigs and hairpieces by various organisations.

This 2016 reflection trend is a bit of fun. Willow turned 1, and Aria was at 3 year old kinder.
I have been feeling the urge to get my sewing machine out again, and in 2016 I was sewing a lot!! By the end of the year I think the girls wardrobes were mostly made by me, and I was getting better at making my own things too.
I was working 2 days a week in my salon and we didnt know it yet, but Benn would start his business the following year.
We got to travel a couple times this year for work and weddings!
I think I’ll get the sewing machine out and dust it off! Maybe teach the girls to sew some things!
