AMAZING nail recovery after 30 YEARS of cheap acrylics!
on the left, you can see the damage left behind after carefully removing the acrylics from her previous salon. redness, lines of demarcation from overfiling, splits, discolouration. the level of damage was the most severe i’ve come across in my career so far.
the photo at the bottom showing how her nails looked after her first builder gel manicure at best judy nails! we had a long road ahead to grow out her damaged nails, and taking care of that new growth.
on the right, after 8 months of seeing me regularly, you can see how much happier her nails look after prepping her nails for her most recent manicure. natural colour, not overfiled, longer nail beds, tidy cuticles. much healthier!
and the bottom right picture is her results from her most recent builder gel manicure.
getting your nails done should be GOOD for your nail health. is it NOT normal for manicures to ruin your nails. stop putting up with it!
this is the most rewarding work to do and i’m so blessed to be trusted with this type of work! if your nails are damaged from rushed manicures, nail biting, or anything else, i’d love to take care of you and sort them out!

imagine your nails looking this good underneath after months of back to back manicures 😮 well, it’s the norm at best judy nails!
improper prep and removal are the main reasons that getting your nails done has a reputation for “ruining your nails” but you don’t have to accept that! getting your nails done can actually improve your nail health with the right tech.

the art -> the muse
this set from today was based on “jacaranda jill”. a fixture at the grafton jacaranda festival in my client’s hometown. love me some niche inspo and some weird dolls!

my current nails are what you do when you can’t choose between spring pastels and halloween! gotta love a bit of a cheesy seasonal design sometimes 👻 🌸
19/09/2025
how cute are these tiny little 3D bloobs with the spring pastel gradient french tips??? ahhhhh 🫐

a round-up of sets i didn’t post from winter! these stained glass ones especially needed a spot on my grid ☺️
bring on the spring nails!
do you like your nails to match the season?
of course, you can do any style any time of year. i used to totally disregard wearing certain colours or doing makeup and nails that “match” the season but these days i think it’s part of living in harmony with nature 🌸 at least for me!
