I thought it was time to reintroduce myself ✨
I’m Zoe, founder of Tan by Zoe and Ohh My Glo.
Over 12 years ago I started Tan by Zoe and taught myself how to tan because I was fed up with being tanned badly. Patchy colour, orange tones, and that awful sticky feeling were my biggest icks. I had no idea what I was doing at the start, but I saw a gap in the market for a tanner people could feel comfortable with and trust. And as a pale redhead I understood how important it was for a tan to look natural.
So I became obsessed with learning. I practiced tanning till I nailed it (thanks to my friends for being guinea pigs 🤭) I started tanning professionally, and during lockdown I started creating my own products to fix the problems I kept seeing. That’s how Ohh My Glo was born. Real solutions from real experience, designed to make tanning easy to use and easy to apply.
I invented a setting spray to get rid of that gross sticky feel and turn any tan from wet to dry instantly, so you can tan and actually get on with your day feeling comfortable.
Since then, the brand has grown in ways I never imagined. Award winning, seen across media, loved by beauty influencers and editors including Vogue and Mamamia with our products now available on the Chemist Warehouse website!!
My focus is still the same. Creating tanning that gives you confidence knowing your tan looks natural and you don’t have to hide orange hands or ankles.
Everything I make is about helping people glow and feel good in their skin.

If you can’t see what you’re doing, you can’t blend it properly.
One of the biggest mistakes I see with at-home tanning is applying blind. A full-length mirror lets you see your back, legs and blending properly, which means a more even tan and a better fade.
This will make your next tan so much easier.
