Client complaint: Can you tell me why, my toe is sore and uncomfortable?!

Me: As you have what is called onycholysis due to trauma (kicking your bed frame) the nail plate has detached from the nail bed and as it has less surface area attaching to the skin (nail bed) more pressure is put on what is attached to hold it.

The most effective treatment for recovery is to cut of the lofted portion, clean it and let it grow out.

Client: But I hate the way it looks!

Me: okay the second option is to put NanoFlex on but you must follow strict aftercare procedures to avoid and infection.
