Hey everyone 💜 I am posting this because I often have people messaging me to book an appointment and a lot of the time they will say ‘are you still doing makeup’ - I assume people may not think I am due to the lack of posting but I just want to clear up that this is not the case, I absolutely am still doing makeup. If I am being honest I am just not your social media gal, I really wish I was but I do find trying to keep up with the social media trend really overwhelming. I am a mum of 4 kids, our weeks & weekends are jam packed with sports and I’m also studying so unfortunately posting content is not always on the top of my list. Anyway I am going to pin this post to the top of my page so future clients or even existing clients can see I’m still here glamming away, I just don’t post much anymore. Due to my lack of posting my algorithm is also terrible, apparently the less you post the less people it reaches so when I do post it’s also not reaching many, for those that do see my posts and give them a like or comment thank you so much ❤️ I often wonder if anyone else struggles with keeping up with socials?

This makeup was a special one for me, 7 years ago I did makeup on my client Andrea for her birthday & she brought her gorgeous daughter Ava to the appointment who was only 10 at the time. She was such a beautiful little girl & I said to her mum you have to bring her back one day for her formal! Well 7 years later I got to do Ava’s makeup for her formal 😍 and she is still as gorgeous as ever! Scroll across to see the photo I took of Andrea and Ava when I did her mum’s makeup. I have to say as well as Ava growing up a lot so has my makeup skills 😂

My beautiful client Jayme’s makeup yesterday. This gorgeous girl is suffering from pregnancy acne so the request was to cover it as best as I could! I’m so glad I could help her feel good for her event 💗

Happy near year everyone! I haven’t posted on my page for some time as i find myself posting on Instagram more these days but I thought I would post some of my current work and let everyone know I’m back working now. After 9 years of being makeup by Jess Grender I have decided to change my business name to JC makeup & beauty (JCMB) this change is because I will be adding more beauty services & I thought it would be nice to incorporate my new initials now that I am married 💜 I have re taken my lash lift training & also completed another lash lift Masterclass on top of that, so I am excited to be offering lash lifts to clients again! Also in the near future I will be adding brow tinting/waxing to my services which will be announced once I’m ready. You will notice the name changes & revamps to my business pages over the coming weeks 😍 please show my post some love to help it reach as many past & future clients as possible ❤️

Over the years I have had some amazing reactions to showing my client their face after I have finished doing their makeup but Katrina’s reaction takes the cake, I could see she was so happy but then she said I think I’m going to cry, I laughed it off thinking she was joking but then the tears started falling down her face. I truly love my job, making someone feel so happy that they feel emotional is so amazing 💗

Hello to all my beautiful clients, a lot of you already know why I have been super quiet over the last couple of months but for those that don’t, it was because I was preparing for my wedding which was completely DIY so lots of hard work went into it! Everything turned out amazing & I have just arrived home from my honeymoon. Unfortunately I arrived home after the new law came in about the 14 day self isolation so this means I have to cancel all bookings within the next two weeks, im so sorry & it absolutely sucks that it’s out of my control.
