Eyelash Perm

What is eyelash perm.
Your lashes will be semi-permanently curled for weeks through winding the hairs around a cylindrical rod. Lash perms are recommended for women with long eyelashes, as the process tends to slightly reduce their length to gain that beautiful curl.

LASH PERM AFTERCARE

The great thing about a Lash Perm is that it is a very low maintenance procedure however, there is a little extra care required over the first 24-48hrs.

Be gentle with your lashes; no rubbing.

Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hrs.

Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes.

Use of Sauna/Steam is possible after 24hrs but may weaken the effect of the perm.

No eye make up for 24 hours.

Avoid waterproof mascara’s.

Swimming should be avoided for at least 24hrs.

No other facial beauty treatments for 24hrs.

What Is Brow Lamination? Microblading Alternative Taking Over Instagram

The microblading alternative, fills in gaps in brows and gives them the illusion of fullness and growth in a fast, noninvasive way.

It hides small gaps and gives the illusion of major hair growth. Most of my clients are 30s to 50s and have lost a lot of their brow hair, either through the natural aging process, illness, or just overwaxing. This is a noninvasive, temporary, but impactful way to fix their brows in an affordable way.

~How Do You Care For Your Brows After a Brow Lamination Treatment?

Just like lash perms, brow lamination follows the same rules as the first 24-48 hours being the most critical to ensure longevity. Following the steps below will ensure your brows are healthy, hydrated and strong after a brow lamination treatment. If you do not follow good aftercare post treatment, it may result in brittle, damaged brow hairs.

Do not get your brows wet within the first 24 hours. This includes but is not limited to excessive moisture and steam from saunas and baths.

Do not apply makeup or receive any treatments around the brow area within the first 24 hours.

Use a brow conditioner daily.

Avoid rubbing or excessive touching of the brows.

Avoid sleeping on your front within the first 24 hours.

After the first 24 hours you can resume your normal daily life with your fabulous brows!

~Henna brows

Henna is a natural product except for the colour developer accelerant and it creates a softer, more matte finish. It stains the skin as well as colouring the hair, so it can fill in any gaps. The colour molecules attach in a different way to tint so it can also be great for very blonde or white/grey brows. It does take a bit longer to process but will last up to a week or two on the skin (depending on oiliness and cleansing routine) and around 4-6 weeks on the hairs.

It’s important to take care of the skin where the Henna has been applied in order to maintain the stain on your skin for as long as possible after treatment.

Avoid using strong eye-makeup removers on treated areas for at least 48 hours as they may strip the colour

Avoid oil-based products as this can cause the Henna stain to fade faster

Do not allow shampoo or conditioner to touch brows for the first 24 hours to avoid fading

Avoid sunbathing for 24 hours as this can cause fading

Avoid swimming/saunas for at least 24 hours after treatment

Do not scrub or rub eyebrows hard or the stain may fade much faster

Avoid use of exfoliators, acne medications, retinol, lightening/bleaching products and alpha hydroxy acids on your brows as these can also strip colour from your skin.
