Why do we use violet products post blonding?

When we get our hair freshly coloured it is toned to give it that crisp fresh edge.

As we wash our hair our tone naturally fades so we need to use 1 or 2 products to help us maintain the amazing blonde that we have.

My recommendations are the Monat violet shampoo if you are blonde hi lights, as well as the Fab-Pro Personalised take home Toning Treatment.

Doing both targets the whole of the hair from root to tip as apposed to just the roots, or just the mid lengths and ends.

How often should we tone?
For most of us, every 3-4 hair washes.
For some every time one of the products or the other.

3 & 6% low light on top 1/2 8b & 1.5% 3:1 on hair inbetween foils.
Toners;
Roots; Joico Silver & 10b
Mids-ends Silver & Violet both with 1.5%

7 days since my last wash so it was time for a scalp scrub. Oil treatment done the night before followed by;

✨Bond fortifying shampoo for bleached hair rebuilding

This is my once a week (none oil treatment prior) hair wash go to products.

I’ve only swapped out my olaplex products for Monat and added in a few extra rituals such as scalp oiling and scalp scrub once a week and I have literally the best hair I’ve ever had 🧝🏻‍♀️
