Hi guys, I’ve had quite a few last-minute cancellations lately, so I just want to remind everyone about my booking policy. Cancelling within less that 48 hours will incur a 50% fee.

Yes, life happens, but appointments aren’t able to be held as a “just in case” spot and then cancelled the day before. I have a waitlist with clients who would happily take those times if I had a bit more notice.

I text your appointment date when we book and you are also given a 48 hour reminder. Please don't wait until your reminder if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Going forward, I’ll be more consistent with enforcing my 48-hour cancellation policy so I can keep things fair for everyone and for myself.

And please arrive on time. Although it is a home based salon I still run on a schedule.

This is not directed at any one person, it's only been a regular occurrence the last couple of weeks, I want to get ahead of it happening again in the future! When you know better 💕

Hi lovely clients!

Just a quick note to let you know I’m taking this coming week off for a bit of rest and to recalibrate.

I may not respond to enquiries straight away during the week, but I’ll be back in the salon from the 24th and will definitely reply to all messages on Monday before reopening. I have been working more hours than usual lately and I'm definitely needing a mental reset.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding- it’s so appreciated. I genuinely love seeing all of you!

I’ve had a couple of little tech gremlins lately where the odd appointment haven’t saved properly.
If you have an upcoming booking, could you please double-check that you’ve received a reminder (two days prior) and that the date matches what I gave you?

I'm booked out until last week of Feb at this stage. Colour bookings available from march.

Just a little heads-up 💛✂️📆

At the moment I’m booking out very quickly, often 2–3 weeks ahead. Saturdays in particular are filling fast, and as I’m now working solo, I’m trying to step back from late nights.

I’m doing around 38–40 hours behind the chair each week, and I need to cap it there so I can properly rest and stay well.

It’s always worth a shot asking if I have a last-minute appointment available, but please don’t be disappointed if I don’t. If I can fit you in, I absolutely will. If I can’t, it’s never personal, it just means I’ve genuinely reached capacity for the week.

I’m so grateful to be so busy. I just wanted to give you a gentle reminder to plan ahead where you can. The easiest way is to rebook your next appointment before you leave, or reach out early if you know you’ll need a spot.

I also want to apologise to anyone I haven’t gotten back to yet. I’ll be sitting down later tonight to make sure I’ve covered everyone.

Hello everyone! I have been inundated with texts today and last night.
Feeling very loved, but please bear with me as I get back to you all.
I have opted to close Friday as it's very dry here. This has meant rescheduling my clients and extending my hours tonight and Saturday as I was already booked out next week.
What a week to start back 😆

With the recent heatwave we’re experiencing, I just wanted to clarify what I’ll be doing on days declared Catastrophic fire danger.

If a Catastrophic rating is issued, I’ll be closing the salon for the day and rescheduling appointments. Safety has to come first - for my clients and for myself.

Please remember to put water out for our wildlife today 🦘

I just wanted to say a big, heartfelt thank you to all of you for the incredible support over the past year.

I’ll be taking a short break and will be offline until the 7th.
I’ll start responding to text messages and all enquiries from next Monday the 5th.

This post is a bit last-minute, and I’m sorry for that- it’s been a massive year of closing my old salon and building a new one without any real time off, and I really do need to properly rest and reset.

I’m so grateful for your patience, kindness, and ongoing support. It genuinely means the world to me, and I can’t wait to be back feeling refreshed and ready to look after you all again.

Boy I have been a busy little 🐝 👏🏻

I just wanted to give you an update as we head into the end of the year. My calendar is completely full, and I don’t have space to rearrange appointments. If you need to cancel- I just ask that you give me as much notice as you can so I can offer the spot to someone else. I require 48 hours notice minimum (refer to cancellation policy 🙏)

At the moment, that is it for 2025. As much as I’d love to fit more people in, it’s simply not possible at this stage.
